L: "Alright FIVE, status update."

Techno: "East end is quiet tonight."

Multiple: "I'm in every major street corner in the slum, and it's quiet here to."

Overwatch: "I'm looking over the west end right now, and there's no trouble here."

Mammoth: "Crow and I just got the riot at the police station under control."

I took a deep breath. It had been quiet all night, and I felt bad for making all of them go on patrol. But with a speedster in town, there was no saying what the Tyrants were planning. Last night at the museum had made an impact on me. I couldn't tell how, but I felt like eyes were watching my every step. But after 6 hours on the street I was feeling foolish.

L: "Maybe we should call it a night."

None of them answered. I knew that they wanted to call it a night, but they didn't want me to think they were week. I let go of my breath. Soon the sun would rise, and the police would be taking care of the rest.

L: "Alright everyone, let's get some sleep."

They all called back this time, and they were already on their way back. I turned off my communicator and stepped out to the edge of the roof I was standing on. Cars were driving, horns were sounding, music was playing and people were laughing. It was a busy night for everyone except the Teen Tyrants apparently.

I looked at the city and its wonders, when I saw it. The lightning flashing threw the streets. It was him! I didn't think for a moment, I could see exactly where he was going. Back to the museum!

I arrived at the museum, and just like last time no locks were broken. I jinxed it and walked inside. I was much more careful this time, and as I entered the museum I could hear footsteps. I hid behind the same pillar, and this time I was more lucky. He was walking between the rows of displays, and he was clearly looking for something special. Like the diamond necklace wasn't enough. He was taller than I remembered, and much more muscular.

I couldn't surprise him. He would notice me before I could do a thing. My only chance was to get close... Very close... I stepped out from my hiding spot and leaned against the pillar.

L: "Need a little luck?"

He reacted immediately, and the last word where only just spoken before he was in front of me. After just a second I regretted my decision. His hand was around my throat, and he pressed me against the pillar. He sure was strong! I couldn't breathe, and he didn't look happy. But then his facial expression changed.

S: "Lucky?"

I couldn't say a thing, but he let go of me, and I fell to the ground. I was sitting on my knees leaning forward and trying to get my breath back, but it wasn't working. He flashed behind me and pulled back my shoulders. My lungs finally opened and the air was more than welcome. I allowed all my muscles to relax and I fell backwards. He caught me, and sat down so that I could rest my back against his chest.

I closed my eyes for a while, and filled my lungs again. I had been close to going into a state of shock, and my heart was pounded like crazy. But as I laid against his chest, I could hear his heart. His heart rhythm and his hands that was gently stroking my arms, made me relax.

S: "How are you feeling?"

L: "Better..."

But then I regained my mind. What the hell was I doing?! I opened my eyes, and his was right above me. He was smiling, but now I to regained the control over my body, and I pushed him away and jumped up.
