One Night 2.0

Jhoana is currently seated at the church's bench and is silently praying for forgiveness.

"Lord, patawarin niyo po ako. Di ko po sinasadya yung nangyari." She is now sobbing. "Nalasing po ako at--at di ko na po alam kung anong nagtulak saking gawin yun. Ang masakit pa nun, babae ang nakakuha Lord! Huhuhu!"

"Tapos ngayon ay parang hinahabol ako ng pagkakamali ko." She creased her forehead while still closing her eyes. "Sana pigilan niyo po akong masaktang ang babaeng yun dahil sa galit ko. Gabayan niyo po ako parati Lord. Maraming salamat po. Amen."

Jho finished with a sign of the cross. She stood up and wiped her tears away. As she was walking towards the exit, she saw her worst nightmare.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?!" Jho whispered screamed to the lady infront of her.

Startled she replied. "L-Louisse, may I talk to you? Please?" Bea pleaded.

Jho creased, eyebrows raised and fist clenched. Lord nman, ang bilis mo nman akong tinest sa hiniling ko. Jho just want to remove the head of the lady infront of her but she cant, not in the church.

She walked fast and passed by Bea. She wanted to control her anger just as what she asked the almighty Father for.

Jho was about to enter her car but then someone closed it. "Oh my gosh!" She was startled and looked at her side. "Ano bang problema mo?!"

"Ikaw! Hindi ka kasi nakikinig Louisse!" Bea lost her temper already. Ever since the day that Aly told her the reason about the latters range, she hired an investigator to find her.

"Stop calling me Louisse! San mo ba nakuha yan?!" Its Jho's time to raise her voice.

Bea creased. "Hindi mo ba yan name? But thats what you told me to call you."

Jho sigh. "My name's Jhoana Louisse Maraguinot. But I prefer to be called Jho. Sobrang lasing ko lang siguro kaya ko nasabing Louisse."

"I see. I'm Isabel Beatriz De Leon. But Im sobber enough to tell you to call me Bea." She handed her hand for a shake.

Jho pushed the latters hand and was about to enter her car again when Bea closed it, again. "Ok! Im sorry it was not a good joke." Bea pleaded again.

"Ano ba kasing kailangan mo ha?!" Jho crossed her arms and raised a brow.

"Jho please, I just want to talk to you." Bea said with sincere eyes.

Jho sigh heavily. "Fine."

"Uhm, Jho do you want something else? Cake or donuts perhaps?" Bea asked carefully. Ayaw niya kasing mabadshot ulit kay Jho.

Jho shook her head and drank from her cup of coffee. "Nothing more."

Bea decided to talk things over coffee. Para nman mahinahon silang dalawa habang naguusap. She was very careful in everything that she did up until now.

"Now, talk." She said while still holding the cup on her hands.

Shit kinakabahan ako! Bea sigh deeply. "I--I wanted to say sorry. Kasi a-ano I to-took your v-virginity."

Jho was caught off guard on what the latter just said so she accidentally move her hands quickly, which caused her hot coffee to spill.

"Aray!" Jho said because some fell on her hands.

Bea, quick on her knees, kneeled infront of Jhoana and checked her burnt hand. "Are you okay?"

Jho blushed. She didnt expect this. "Y-yes. Im okay." At binawi niya ang kamay.
