My Rival

It was a busy wednesday afternoon for the student council's president Alyssa Valdez. Students and teachers enter and exit the office continuously. They take turns in talking, inquiring and asking for her opinion in certain events in the school.

"Ms. Valdez, kailan mo ba mapagbibigyan ang hiling ko?" Asked the Volleyball coach, Roger.

"Coach Roger, wala pa po tlga akong time eh. Sorry po. And why do you need me anyway? Maganda nman ang line up natin this coming sportsfest ah?"

"Maganda nman tlga. Lalo na yung pinapasok mong rookie, si Bea De Leon. Ang galing ng batang yun! Matangkad pa kaya madaling nakakapag block!" Roger said with face full of excitement.

"Yun nman pala coach eh. So whats the problem? Bakit hinihintay niyo parin ako?"

"Ano ba nmang tanong yan baldo, you're one of a kind kaya! Phenom ka nga diba! Tsaka hindi lang nman ako ang may gustong bumalik ka, pati natin ang fans mo. The crowd miss you already!" He tried to convince the president again.

"Miss ko nman din pong maglaro coach eh kaso I cant divide my attention to several things, ang ending niyan eh I wont excel in any of those. Ayaw ko nman po ng ganun." She explained while scratching her head.

"Oo na, cge na nga. Talo na ako. Basta if you changed you're mind, the position will always be open for you!" He stood up and handed his hand for a shake.

Aly took his hand but didnt stand up from her chair, Roger creased his forehead and thought how it unusual it is.

"Sorry if I cant stand coach, my knees are aching kasi." She said shyly.

"Baka nman kaya hindi mo tinatanggap yung alok ko eh dahil baldado ka na! Ay nako baldo ha!" He gave Aly a glare.

"Of course not coach! Malakas pa po ang tuhod ko, its just that today was an excemption. Ang dami kong visitors out of nowhere."

"Ganun ba? Oh cge ipahinga mo na yang tuhod mo at gagamitin pa natin yan next year. Hahaha! Mauna na ako baldo ha, bye-bye!" Roger waved and went out the office.

"Haaay!" Aly sigh deeply and leaned her back onto her swivel chair.

"Oh, whats with the long face babe?" A voice from below her asked.

"Nako! Isa ka pang problema eh! Ano bang ginagawa mo dito?!" Aly hissed while whispering.

She bent down the table to level her eyes with the person she is talking with. The latter just smiled widely then pouted a second after.

"You dont want me here baby?" She sweetly asked.

"Its not that I dont want you here, its just bawal ka dito sa school. You're trespassing!" Aly hissed again.

"I dont care babe! I freaking miss you so bad!" She said and hugged the latter on her waist.

Aly smiled and hugged the other person back. "Yeah, me too. I miss you more babe."

They were feeling each other's warmth, smelling each other's scent and hearing each other's heart beat when suddenly the door opened and another visitor visited.

"Ate Ly!" A girl's voice shouted.

Out of surprise, Alyssa swiftly raised her head and eventually hit it to the table. She shouted in pain. On the other hand, the person below her quickly hid back under the table and covered her mouth.

"Ouch!" Aly yelled.

"Oh, okay ka lang?" Jia, her teammate before.

"Of course not! Bakit ka ba kasi bigla bigla nlang papasok dito ha!" She hissed in anger, again.
