"Asshole." I muttered, watching Alistair leave to get some coffee for the three of us. Mishell playfully punched my shoulder, and end up hitting one of my bruises.
"Careful." I snapped, holding my arm. She sighed and looked at me with an annoyed expression.
"I don't see how Alistair and you had sex, you're so fragile and he's so... masculine." I blushed deeply and tensed up a little, the memory playing back.
"S-Shut up Mishell." I managed to mumble out, glaring at the wall and silently begging for Alistair to get back. Mishell laughed and patted my shoulder softly.
"Sorry, didn't think before I spoke." She giggled. I looked at her and crossed my arms over my chest.
"You better be sorry." I frowned, Alistair stepped in and chuckled.
"What are you so grumpy about?" He asked, looking at me. I simply pointed to Mishell and pulled the blanket over my face with a huff. I felt the bed shift under me and moved the blanket down enough to see Alistair sitting beside me.
"What did she say to get you so upset?" He asked, setting the coffee on the table next to Mish. Mishell grinned and looked at me with an amused glint in her eyes.
"I said, 'I don't see how Alistair and you had sex, you're so fragile and he's so masculine'." She repeated. Alistair blushed and chuckled, looking at me with that stupid smirk of his.
"Well actually, I wouldn't have done anything if it hadn't been for Naomi's actions itself." He said with that smirk of his. I felt my cheeks flushed and grabbed his chin, connecting our lips in hopes he'd shut up. He seemed glad to return the kiss, holding the back of my neck and pulling me closer. I broke the connection and rolled my eyes at his goofy smile, pushing his face away from mine.
"I hate loving you sometimes." I sighed, looking at him with a small smile. He chuckled and moved some hair from my eyes, planting a kiss on my forehead.
"I love you too." He shook his head, pulling me to his chest. I let my weight rest on him and looked at Mishell who had her phone out and pointed at Alistair and I.
"You two are soooo cute!" She squealed, putting her phone away. I rolled my eyes and grabbed Alistair's hand, intertwining our fingers. It had been two weeks prior to the car accident and apparently I had broken two ribs and my left leg, so I'm stuck on bed duty until Alistair lets me get up, and I doubt he ever will.
"Well, I'll be leaving now. See ya tomorrow guys." Mishell waved, getting up and grabbing her coffee. I waved back and let my head fall onto Alistair's side. He looked at me when he heard the front door close and let his smile fall. I furrowed my brows and poked his nose.
"Why the long face? And you look paler than usual." I frowned, he let out a sigh.
"Well, I haven't been getting my needed nutrients since the accident." He mumbled. I blinked and moved my hand from his, slapping him as hard as I could. He almost fell off the bed and held his cheek in shock, looking at me with a surprised expression.
"I don't care if I'm injured or not! You tell me when you're hungry, I'm your blood slave. Am I not?" I huffed, glaring at Alistair. He slowly sat up and moved his gaze from me to my neck.
"Y-yes, you are. But you're also my lover, and I don't want to put you in danger." I groaned and pulled myself closer to him.
"I don't care where you get it from, but you still need to eat." I said, pulling him closer to me. He sighed in defeat and moved my head to the side, slowly sinking his teeth into my flesh. I winced at the pain that shot through me, gripping his shirt tightly and squeezing my eyes shut. He wrapped his arms around my body and pulled me closer, caressing my neck with his tongue and pulling off my neck with a pop.
"There, you happy now?" He asked me, pecking my cheek. I nodded in response, taking in a small breath and covering the bite marks with my hand. I laid back down on my side and tugged his shirt, singling him to lay with me. He did so and moved his arm under me, pulling me to his chest and kissing my forehead. I nuzzled my face into his chest and gripped his shirt tightly, my lips parting as I slowly drift off to sleep.
"I love you." I whispered, falling asleep.
