Chapter 21

{Morgan's POV}

"Morgan?" I wake up to see my best friend Luke looking at me.

"Luke?" i question while whipping the sleep from my eyes.

"I'm so happy to see you are ok" he says smiling at me as he backs up and pulls a chair closer to the bed.

"Where's Keaton and Riley?" i ask while sitting up wincing in pain as i do so.

"Don't move to much" i nod as i finally get comfy. "Keaton took Riley home so she can go to school, he said he will be back later" he says smiling.

"Thanks" i slowly move a little trying not to hurt my self as i try to get a closer look at Luke. As i exam closer i see a wedding ring on Luke's hand i slowly reach for his hand.

"Oh yeah I finally got enough balls to ask Katie to marry me" He says smiling probably thinking of that day. I can't believe they actually got married.

"Oh congrats I'm so happy for you" i say smiling as best as i could.

Luke told me all about the wedding and how Katie wasn't able to come because she has a doctors appointment. He also was excited to tell me him and Katie was expecting and she was due in a couple months. I can't believe i missed so much with him and everything else. I told him about what happened with Scott and Blaine. He asked about Riley and i told him she was mine, he started to tell me he could tell because she looked just like me. I told him how Keaton and i are getting married and he kept saying congrats and how happy he is that I'm ok.

"How did you find out i was here?" i asked.

"Emily called Katie and she demanded i come down and check on you" he smiles. I start to laugh at how Katie demanded him to come see me.

"But i don't know why she demanded me too, i would have came either way because you still are and will be my best friend" He says reaching for my hand as i just smile thinking about how Luke has always been there for me when no one else would.

I look up to the door to see Wes, Drew and Keaton walk in. Luke gets up from his chair and hugs me Before he walks out. I smile just thinking of everything me and Luke talked about. Everyone looked at me like i was crazy as i just laid there smiling thinking of everything and how happy i was for my best friend.

"How are you feeling today?" Drew asked walking over taking the seat beside me. I weakly smile.

"hello Ms. Wilson" doctor smith says walking in the room.

"hello" i say softly.

"So we are planning to have you start therapy today so you can get walking again and from saying that everything else is fine. All your wounds are healing perfectly and soon enough you will be on your way home" he says smiling walking over to my bedside.

I thank Doctor Smith for everything he has done before he walks out. Wes walks over to my side smiling at me as Keaton stays near the door.

"Drew why don't we go pick up Riley early from school" Wes says. Drew looks confused but soon understands that Wes wants to give me and Keaton time alone.

As they leave its so silent no one says a word as Keaton walks over taking the seat beside my bed. I look at him as he starts to play with his hands.

"Morgan" he says looking up at me.

"Keaton-"

"Morgan I thought I was going to lose you...I can't imagine my life without you! I'm so thankful that you ok" he says as I see the tears building up in his eyes. I reach over and grab his hand in mine.

I was speechless i didn't know what to say. I know he was scared and worried.

"Morgan I love you" he says looking at me as tears stream down his face.

"Keaton I love you and don't cry I'm here and I ain't going anywhere" He smiles at me as he gets up from his chair beside the bed. He moves his hand to my face as his thumb rubs my cheek. I smile at how much I missed his touch in just a few days. He begins to lean in and soon enough I feel his soft lips on mine. I smile into the amazing kiss as are lips move in sync.

"Ok guys not in the hospital" Wes says walking back in smiling at me and Keaton.

Keaton pulls away and sits back in the chair beside the bed grabbing my hand. We all talk about everything for awhile as they fill me in on how long Blaine will be in jail.

"By what I have heard he confessed everything about Michelle, and Jordan and what he done to us so he will be in Jail for awhile." I smile at thought of Michelle. She helped me so much and I know she is in a better place.

"You ready to go to therapy" The nurse comes in asking me as she looks around. I nod my head as she helps me up and puts me in the wheelchair.

"Morgan I will be here when you get back" Keaton said as my nurse rolled me out of my room.

"That boy is so cute" she whispered in my ear as we reached the elevator.

"I know"

"He seems to love you, every time
I check on you he is always here" she says smiling at me as she pushes the floor number on the elevator.

"He does and I love him so much" I say smiling back at her as the elevator doors open.

{Keaton's POV}

I watch the nurse wheel Morgan to therapy. I smile thinking that soon enough she will be home once again.

"Guys I just remembered my wedding is next week" Drew says as he holds his phone.

"Oh" me and Wes say as Drew starts to call Lisbeth.

As she answers the phone I can hear her yelling at Drew and complaining that there isn't enough time. He decides to leave and go help Lisbeth.

"I have to go hell Lisbeth and Drew do you care to pick up Riley?" Wes asks as he grabs his coat.

"Oh ok and no I'll go get her now" I say smiling as I walk out with Wes.

Minutes later I'm pulling into Riley's school. I walk to the office as I open the door I'm greeted by a woman who looks about 30 sitting at a wooden desk.

"Hello how can I help you?" she asked smiling at me.

"Uh yes I'm here to pick up Riley Wilson" I say while slightly smiling.

The lady gives me the class number in which Riley is in. But before she did that I had to explain to her that I was Riley's soon to be step dad and she called everyone on Riley's yellow card which thankfully she finally understood and let me go get her. As I reached room 15 I opened the door and saw Riley and Lucas sitting beside each other.

"Can I help you?" the lady who I'm guessing is Riley's teacher asked as I just stood by the door.

"Yeah I'm here to get Riley" I say softly as I step into the classroom. As the door quietly closes Riley's eyes meet mine and a giant smile starts to grow on her face.

"Riley someone is here for you" the lady says as Riley picked up her things and hugs Lucas before walking up to me.

"Hey daddy Keats" she says while still hugging me.

"Oh this is daddy Keats?" the teacher asks looking at me. I nod my head as I grab Riley stuff from her hands.

"I have heard so much about you" she says smiling at me and Riley. I smile back and thank her before me and Riley walk out.

As I close the door Riley starts talking about what her an Lucas done today and how she can't wait till mommy gets home. I loved this little girl so much she is a split imagine of her mom. When we reached the car I helped Riley in and buckled her up. Soon enough we were on the road headed to the hospital.

"How is mommy today?" Riley asks.

"Better she is better today" I smile and look in the mirrors to see a smile growing on Riley's face.

We finally reach the hospital. As soon as the car stops Riley is running towards the hospital.

"Riley!" I yell back as she runs inside. I run after her. She stops in front if Morgan's room.

"Riley don't run like that again" I say as I finally reach her. She doesn't say anything.

"We're losing her!" I hear a doctor yell from Morgan's room. I look up to see maybe 5 nurses in Morgan's room as they work in her.

Walk closer to the room and ease through the door trying to look at her.

"You can't be in her! Sir you have to leave!" the nurse yells as she pushes me out before shutting the door and going back to Morgan. I fall to my knees an I can't hell but cry. But I stop enough to see Riley leaning against the wall sobbing.

I stand up and walk over to her picking her up and holding her as she cried. I set back in the floor while holding Riley as the doctors and nurses finally came back out of the room. I slowly got up still hiking Riley as I walked over to the nurse slowly closing the door back.

"Is she ok?" I ask sounding a little shaky.

"She is fine for now, she had a mild heart attack but she will be fine" the nurse assures me before walking away. "you can see her now" she slightly yells before disappearing. I put Riley down and walk into Morgan's room while holding Riley's hand.

I reach the bed I slowly pull the chair closer and put Riley on my lap as we look at Morgan. Her face looks better then its did a week ago the swelling has went down and her ankle is healing perfectly. The door swings open revealing Emily, Sandi.

"Is she ok?" Emily asks while examining Morgan.

"She just had a mild heart attack but other then that the doctors say she is fine" I say softly as I grab Morgan's hand.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask being curios of there random appearance.

"1. Drew and Lisbeth's wedding, and 2. Morgan we had to see our best friend." Sandi says walking over where Emily stands.

Morgan starts to stir in her sleep but she doesn't open her eyes she just keeps turning and she close her eyes tighter. I rub my thumb over her hand as she starts to calm down and she is back peaceful.
