He felt like the room was spinning, his throat felt dry. It hurt him, for some reason. He looked away from the screen, biting his lip. It was just Richard kissing a girl, nothing big. Then why was he acting this way.

"Hi, Chris!" Richard gave a bright smile, his cheeks tinted a light pink.

Chris was glad he was able to Skype with him, but that meant he couldn't do certain things while Richard could see him.

"Hey, how's your trip so far?"

"The Northern Lights are really pretty! I wish you were here."

"Yeah, that would be reall—"

"Richie? Who is that?" A woman stood behind him, in only a bathrobe.

"Oh! Sadie, this is Chris."

Richie? What the hell...?

She sat next to him, on the bed he was on, giving a rather annoyed smile.

Richard didn't seem to notice the weird looks between the two other people.

"How's Jackson?"

"H-he went back home." Chris didn't realize he was talking to him again.

"Babe, can we get back to earlier?" Sadie whispered loudly, thinking Chris couldn't hear her.

"I don't think I can, I'm going to shower after I finish talking to Chris."

He smiled at the way Richard said his name, the way it rolled off his tongue made butterflies in his stomach.

Then it happened.

She had cut him off mid sentence, pulling him to face her by his shoulder, practically jumping on Richard to kiss him.

His words were muffled by her lips, as she pressed herself closer to him.

He felt like the room was spinning, his throat felt dry. It hurt him, for some reason. He looked away from the screen, biting his lip. It was just Richard kissing a girl, nothing big. Then why was he acting this way.

Before he could say something, Sadie reached towards the screen they were video chatting on, turning it off, the screen going black for Chris.

He took a deep breath, the taste of iron in his mouth. He had bit his lip too hard, and now it was bleeding.

"I hope you're okay, Rich."
