"I could never forget you," I said to him as he stayed silent. "I remember when we were five and I was on the playground all alone and you came over just so I wouldn't be lonely," I said fighting back the tears.
"I remember when we were eight and I had to leave for vacation but we were gonna miss each other too much so you tried to hide in my suitcase," I said laughing slightly through my sobs.
"I remember when we were eleven and you stood up for me when all the other kids at school were being mean," I said taking a shallow breath.
"I remember when we were fourteen and you showed me your scars. I never knew you were that strong until then. I remember when we were fifteen and you slowly drifted away from me. Leaving me behind."
"I remember when we were sixteen and I watched you from a distance." I took a quick look around before continuing. "I loved you. I still love you...." I whispered tears streaming down my face.
"I remember those times and always will. I remember, but I'm not so sure you do too." My silent cries now becoming more noticeable. "I didn't think u could forget me because...." I trailed off as I slowly walked out of that horrid place. I looked back at his tombstone with tears brimming in my eyes again. ".....because I could never forget you..."
I remembered but you didn't...
