I've said this many times before in many different ways. The thing is though, people need to keep hearing it. Please never ignore people who care. Never ever brush someone off who shows interest in you. I'm not saying that this will happening to everyone, but there's always the possibility of people leaving you.
There's always the time when someone says goodbye without actually having to voice it directly to you. Because that's the bottom line. People give up. If you don't show them that you care right back all they're ever going to think is how you couldn't even bother a spare "hello" to them. Never ever take someone caring about you for grant it. Always acknowledge it.
I know it's seemingly hard and impossible to notice and talk to everyone who says they care but the least you could do is try to put effort into loving them right back. And that's what truly sucks. People don't really believe you when you merely say you love them too. People don't believe in how much you care about them. And when you rarely say it, it makes it even harder to believe.
One day THEY WILL get tired. Tired of loving shamelessly and getting nothing back in return. One day, soon enough if it continues, THEY WILL leave. No one sticks around forever. But people have the ability to move on and leave you a lot faster if you take the care they give you for grant it. I speak from personal experience of giving up on someone and being given up on as well. It's even worse when you notice it too late.
So please never ever waste a chance to tell someone you love them too. Never waste an opportunity to show someone just how much you really care about them. That's when the cycle starts a little tho. That's when you could get ignored right back. It's sad really. Very sad.
I wish everyone would just realize this and take a minute to show someone they really do care. You don't have endless opportunities to do that. Because no matter how much they love you they are only human.
They will give up on you eventually if you keep in ignoring them. They will feel rejected. And they will leave. So please never take the care they show you for grant it. And always show you care about them too. xx
