March 4th-11th 1979
On the morning after Carrie and I get back from France, I spend the day sleeping in, unpacking my things, tidying up my little flat, and getting ready for work the next day. I work for the local paper as a columnist, reviewing books, films and music. Everything goes back to the usual routine Monday afternoon. Carrie and Heather invite me out to dinner and drinks on Friday night and we have a proper catch up with Heather about our trip. I don't hear anything from Queen. I'm not surprised although I'll be the first to admit I am disappointed. There is always the little encouraging voice in my head, telling me they will call, or send a letter, or even randomly turn up. My life will be less hectic without them I guess.
Brian's POV
When we came back to England on the sixth we were all tired and a bit sick of each other. We decided to go off for a week or so and spend time alone and with our families. My son, Jimmy, is only nine months at the moment and I've only been able to spend a few of those months at home with him and Chrissie. The European tour was hectic, but I'm pleased there will be a live album made out of it. We performed exceptionally and I'm sure it'll go down well with the fans.
The last show was great and I have to say one of my favourite bits about it was after the show. Seeing all those fans waiting to see if they could get something signed from us was quite amazing, but especially those two girls, Alex and Carrie. Normally, Freddie would have kicked them out and told them to leave us alone, but he seemed to take a shine to these two. Alex was a nice seeming girl. Carrie was a bit quieter, but I had a feeling she was good spirited too. Going on the picnic the day after was marvelous. No one there bothered us and there was no paparazzi in sight, which was rather odd. Showing the girls Death Scrabble was hilarious, they couldn't believe how competitive Freddie and Roger would get. I blew them all out of the water with my score which I will hold over the other boys heads for as long as I can. I think we'll be seeing more of Alex and Carrie in the future. All the others seemed to love them too.
Roger's POV
I was absolutely knackered coming back from the European tour. It was a shit ton of drumming over a not very long period of time. I'm well ready to relax and spend a bit of time away from the boys. The live album should be bloody brilliant though. It'll be the first one with hopefully more to come. The fans will definitely love it, the crowds in Europe are always much better than America. They're more well behaved and cause less trouble, but sing twice as loud as those Yanks.
The last show was pretty good. Not necessarily our best, but Freddie wasn't in one of his moods which always made the shows better than than when he was. Meeting some of the fans was really cool, especially that Alex and Carrie. Quite the lookers those two, especially Alex. She looked fucking terrified when we all came over to sign her stuff, poor bird. I'm glad they ended up staying because she was a good laugh. Carrie was a bit quiet, probably just shy like Fred. But can I just say that Brian's score on that Scrabble game was an utter fluke. I could have beat him if I wasn't nursing a massive hangover. He'll probably never get anything close to it again anyway and if he does... well... lucky bastard. I think I'll try convince the guys to see them again once we are back working together again.
John's POV
These tours will be the death of me. All I did on the couple days after the tour was sleep, eat cheese on toast, and play with my kids. Robert is almost four, Michael is one, and Veronica is currently pregnant with Deaky III. This part of the tour has been especially good, which is promising because out first live album will be made out of it. We're a tight knit group, but after a month of being constantly together it's nice to be able to take a few days off from them.
After the last show I was a little bit hesitant to let the fans actually come in to the backstage room, but the boys convinced me there were only a couple dozen and it was just autographs and pictures. A surprising many asked for me specifically which was unusual. They tended to leave me be for Freddie, Brian and Roger. I preferred it that way to be honest, it was less hassle. It was quite unusual though for a couple of the fans to end up staying. Luckily for us they weren't the crazy ones. They were surprisingly calm for fans seeing as we've had a couple faint before. I'm pretty sure their names were Alex and Carrie. I'll be surprised if the others, especially Roger, properly remember what happened. They put the rum the girls brought in to good use. I'll admit they were pretty funny trying to tell poor Alex about all this stupid stuff they were interested in. Maybe we can see them again as they are also living in London.
Freddie's POV
The days after our last show were booked out with interviews. As much as I dislike them it wasn't all bad. The questions were mostly about the tour and our careers rather than our personal lives. I hate sharing personal things with other people, especially interviewers. Now we are back in England I am more than happy to relax for a few days in my Kensington apartment. We performed some excellent shows, and the audio from those will be turned into our very first live album which I am sure will be absolutely fabulous.
The last show wasn't my best, I'll admit. The exhaustion from the last months of touring caught up on me a bit and I think it showed in my voice in some places. However, after the show was a good lot of fun. Meeting some of the fans was marvelous, they were mostly all well mannered. Not a crazy one in sight. And those two lovely girls, Alex and Carrie, were superb company. I'm normally not one to spend lots of time with strangers, especially fans, but they were great. It's always nice to have fans that will talk to you like you're a real person, and there's more to you than your music and looks. From what I remember Carrie left and Alex stayed on and ended up being stuck with the drunkest of us, that being everyone but Deaky, telling her all about our interests. Of which she probably has no interest. Hopefully when the boys and I get together again we can have her around to.

Author's Note
All chapters will start in Alex's POV unless otherwise specified. Generally, the POV's won't change very much. Time skips, of which there won't be long ones, will have brief recaps of what's happened over the time passed so you have an idea of why things are happening etc.
Hope you enjoyed :)
