A/N: Holy sh*t guys, I'm so sorry! It feels like it been ages I didn't update! I promise I'll try to update more often in the future.
Things are getting messier for June! Hope you'll love this chapter. I'm halfway done with the next one already :)
PS: the pic in the media is my favorite pic of Michael 👀June's point of view
"You don't need a guy that thought it would be fun to ruin your relationship because his freaky former manager told him to."
His freaky former manager told him to.
His freaky former manager.
The sound of Prince shutting the door behind him had me coming back to reality in a split second. When those words came out of his mouth, I couldn't quite process. It's like the whole world stopped for a mere minute, leaving me the time to understand what the person I thought was genuinely a friend of mine said.
At that moment, I couldn't figure out what was the main emotion I was feeling. I was sad, anxious, tired, confused and angry. I hated him, but at the same time, I was sad for him. I wanted to talk to him, but at the same time, I wanted to rip his head off.
Of course, I knew exactly who he was talking about.
I never thought he'd be capable of doing such a thing; being an ally of the worst human being I got to meet in my life. A man that tried to ruin Michael's happiness while pretending to be his friend, a man who tried to ruin my and my friends' lives, a violent motherfucker who thought that beating women was okay...
I couldn't get why Prince was still willing to talk to Frank; and even worse, listen to him after he went straight to jail for his crimes.
To me, there had to be an explanation, a reason why Prince did that.
I couldn't let him go that way after the bomb he dropped. I needed him to tell me more about this. There was no way I hell that he tried to ruin my relationship with Michael "just for fun". He was better than that.
Maybe Frank threatened him? This sounds like something he'd do.
Maybe he made this up so that I can finally hate him for good?
I shook my head frantically from side to side, and looked around the empty room for couple of seconds and barged out of it before taking my purse which was on the floor. The people that crowded the hallways were still there, but it seemed like some of them were gone, as it was easier for me to walk—or shoud I say run—past them. I threw a few 'excuse me' here and there while making my way to the huge living room of the house, and once I got there, I looked around, looking for a long, white coat.
But I couldn't find it.My second option was to find Eddie and ask him if he knew where Prince was, and I got lucky enough to find him.
"Hey, beautiful! You enjoying yourself?" Eddie asked over the loud music, a huge smile plastered on his face while he was giving his best on the dancefloor.
"Uh, yeah, the party is amazing!" I faked a smile. "Tell me, did you see Prince? I need to talk to him."
"Too late, he just left a couple of seconds ago!"
"Damnit," I muttered under my breath, before turning around to run to the front door.
However, Eddie gently grabbed my arm, which stopped me from moving any further. I turned to look at him, and he gave me a look of disapproval.
"Let him go," he mouthed to me, with a serious face on.
"Why?" I asked with a frown, not understanding his reaction.
