I watched June's every move as I was sitting on a barstool at the kitchen island, my chin on my hands, and my elbows rested atop the table. It felt good to be home with my fiancée, having what's closer to a normal life for us. She was fixing some breakfast for the both of us, telling me random things. I couldn't hear what she was saying, all I was thinking about was what was coming next: the meeting with the wedding planner. It was the first time I was meeting with her, and I was very excited to. All of our worries, our problems didn't seem to exist anymore. We had a wedding to plan, and I was determined to make it our first preoccupation again.

"And Karl was like 'Get out of here, you don't want me to do your wedding dress!'" she laughed her heart out, turning the pancake over in the frying pan. "He wouldn't believe it. I swear, he was as happy as I was, if not happier."

I stared at her with a bright smile on my lips and sparkles in my eyes. Hearing her laugh was the best melody to my ears, and just the sight of her smile on her angelic face put me in a trance everytime I was lucky enough to see it.

"Here, give me your plate," she asked, extending her hand in my direction, as I continued to stare at her. "Honey?"

"You're so beautiful," I dreamily said, sighing happily.

She gave me a look, and put her hands on her hips, "Did you even hear what I was saying?" she asked with a little smirk.

"What?"

"Michael, focus," she laughed, putting the frying pan away from the stove.

"I can't focus on anything else when you're smiling and laughing," I admitted, standing up from my barestool to go to her. I rubbed her cheek gently, examining her closely with a bright smile appearing on both of our faces. "How can you be so beautiful?"

"And how can you look at me the same way you looked at me the first time we met, and make me feel this important after all this time?"

"I have skills," I joked, and kissed her lips gently. "It's easy when you love someone as much as I love you."

She smiled again before wrapping her arms around my waist and resting her head on my chest. The affection she gave me everyday, the little gestures she had for the sake of me... This is what made me fall in love with her. I've never felt so loved before June came into my life, and I never gave so much love to one and only person.
