CLARY'S P.O.V:
Tears streamed down my face as I checked for a pulse. Nothing. My heart stopped beating and my lungs needed air. It was like I was holding my breath underwater, I needed to come up for air, but I didn't. Blackness swelled near the corner of my vision, and that reminded me to be strong for jace. I need to get him back alive and breathing, but what would I do? As I glanced down at myself, it hit me like a slap. Alec.

ALEC'S P.O.V:

I crouched down in pain as my parabatai rune shot me up in pain.Jace. As soon as I reached for my stele, my phone vibrated on the table.

Incoming call from Clary.

I tapped the green phone button and soon Clary was yelling words at me. All I heard was, Jace has lead. "What, Clary? Jace has lead? How does that even make sense?" Clary grumbled some colorful words before speaking again. "By the angel Alec, I didn't say that! Jace is currently dead, or unconscious and I need your parabatai strength to heal him." My skin got pale and I turned ice cold. I grabbed my bow and arrow, and headed towards the entrance of the apartment. "Clary, I'll be there as soon as possible. I'll head straight there." Clary said in confusion, "how can a non-straight person go to something straight?" I knew if I could see Clary, there would be a big grin on her freckled face. My finger hit the end button as I left the apartment with a smile on my face. It wasn't a straight smile though, it was crooked.

CLARY'S P.O.V:

"Clary?" I heard Alec's voice searching through the apartment. "I'm in the bathroom." My voice rose as Alec's footsteps came down the hallway. "Alec." I sighed in relief, and hugging him just for the sake of making feel better. He squeezed my arms as if it would make me happier. "Clary." Alec's blue eyes reminded me of Will and Abby, automaticly filling my eyes with tears. I scrunched my eyes up and blinked them away, but a few escaped onto my cheeks. Alec intently stared at me once more before bending down to his parabatai. "Alec, I need you to put an iratzes on. It will be more powerful than me, even though Jace and have that special love connection thing, but I haven't been feeling that connection after Sebastian came. So our only hope is you. Now work your magic, oh wait- you're not Magnus. Work your...-" Alec chimed in, "my shadowhuntery powers." I grinned, rising my hopes a little more as I sat down next to my little angel boy.

"Is it working?" Alec looked exhausted, but Jace was already less pale now. "I'm so tired, I'm going to make a snack." Alec headed down the hallway, except I was near Jace instead of going with him. "What should I make?" Alec yelled to me. I smirked, a Jace face, and replied, "A pie." He cackled from the kitchen and I did too. "No." "Why not?" My smirk changed to a grin and it slid up to my ears like an idiot. "Because I'm not your bitc*" I laughed hysterically, rolling on my side, and I accidently hit into Jace. "Who's are you then?" Knowing Alec would mutter this answer quietly, I put on an enhanced hearing rune. "Magnus'." I barely heard him, even with the rune in use. My face scrunched up as I laughed again, remembering everything that was just said.
"I made fruit salad." Alec exclaimed, placing the fruit platter on the glass table. "Now, let me get back to work on my shadowhuntery powers." Alec winked which was so unlike him. I think Jace was rubbing off on Alec.
"Clary, hand me a grape." I did what Alec told me, plopping a purple grape into his hands. He took the grape and stuck it in Jaces mouth. "Alec, what are you doing?" "Don't bother me, Clary. Magnus taught me some things."  I shook my head in confusion, wondering if Magnus was just playing with Alec. "I need my stele." I handed Alec his stele, and soon enough, Jace was choking.
On a grape.
"Jace." I rushed over to his side, telling him to swallow a lot so the grape would eventually go down his throat. "Alec, see what you did?" I hissed at him. "Everything I do has a reason." Alec looked Jace in the eyes and Jace stared at him back, still coughing up a storm. I heard Jace gulp and the coughing came to a halt.
"It's gone! The grape has left my throat!" Jace beamed, already making me happy.
I laughed as Jace hugged me closer and kissed me like he hasn't seen me in 20 years.
"Jace." I was so relieved I finally had my angel boy.
I nuzzled my face into jaces shoulder, lettung tears gently fall down my face. "Stop canoodlin-by the angel, I sound like Magnus." I quietly laughed, and rubbed my eyes, letting a slight wetness escape into my hand.
No more tears.
I focused myself back to Jace, ignoring Alec's blabbering.
Me and Jace stared into each other's eyes, getting lost in each other. We were so lost, we didn't even hear Alec walk out of the Apartment.
