I got home and walked to my room. I wasn’t as tired as I would’ve been at my old school but then again it was a struggle getting sympathy every day that you didn't ask for. I plopped my bag on the floor and laid on my bed. I thought about my first day at Ravens High, not as bad as I thought it would be. Met some friends, couple of slags and a few jerks but life goes on. I heard a vibration from my desk and saw my phone jiggling around, I grabbed it and looked.

New message from Taylor

Taylor and I had exchanged numbers at lunch; I opened the message and read it:

ANGEL! I added you on Facebook and it seems like other people did too. Go online. T xx

Wow, I had friend requests; I never had friend requests I was always the one sending them out but now I was receiving them. I excitedly left my phone and took my laptop.

I opened up to Facebook and logged in. My face froze. 76 friend requests, this was gonna take a while to go through. But still the joy going through me was indescribable, it may seem sad but I actually had people wanting to be my friend just because I had opened my mouth. Wait Angel, this is only Facebook don’t be a deer stuck in the headlights then get smashed in the face, guess who told me that?

“ANGEL! YOU HAVE SOMEONE ON THE LINE FOR YOU!” My aunt shouted.”

“Speak of the devil,” I murmured.

“Coming!” I called back; I left my laptop and made my way downstairs.

“I think it’s a dude.” Katie said. I wish she would just mature already.

“A boy. You think it is a boy. People don’t use dude in that context.” I corrected her.

“Okey Dokey, making pasta for dinner… take your time girlfriend.” She joked.

I scowled and laughed at the same time and placed the phone near my ear.

“Hello,” I said.

“Right, I’m gonna make this clear. Lucas is mine.” The person said nastily down the phone.

“Huh?”

“You're listening to me right? You better keep your paws off him. Or else.” She threatened.

“Who are you anyway?” I chuckled.

“A pretty blonde,” I could hear that she sounded pretty pleased with herself.

“What is your life?” I muttered.

“What!” She shouted.

“Nothing, I said nothing…” I said calmly enjoying her reaction.

“Whatever twat, have nothing to do with Lucas…Oh hey Lukey!”  She was round his house but as they say ‘it takes two to tango.’

“Why are you using my phone? Who you talking to?” He sounded pissed. Good, stupid girl… interrupting me from being on my laptop; wait, how the hell had Lucas gotten my number? I hadn’t given it to him - my phone was in my bag and my bag was always with me.

“Um, no one,” The girl said. Then I remembered that blonde from school, it was her on the phone. She must have jumped in his car and ‘did the dirty’ with him after school. My aunt is a laid back person but if ever dared do anything that this girl did she’d would hunt me down, kill me then meditate.  Yes, meditate. I emphasise she is a hippie.
