Zombie Outbreak: The Apocalypse ✓

CHAPTER FIVE

Silence engulfed the whole place after I said that idea that suddenly entered my mind like a bulb light suddenly lightened up in my head.

Pero mukhang hindi nila nakuha ang aking pinaparating dahil kitang-kita ko ang katanungan sa kanilang mukha― maliban kay Ash na nakatingin lamang sa akin at parang sinusuri ang aking ekspresyon. I have this gut that he knows what's the purpose already but he wants me to say it because he doesn't have any plan to.

"Huh? Anong connect ng speakers sa pagtakas natin?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Blake na inosenteng nakatingin sa akin habang nakalagay ang kamay sa batok na parang nagkakamot.

Napa-hilamos nalang ako sa tanong niya pero pinili ko paring sagutin ang tanong niya kaysa suntukin ito sa inis. Remember, Ae, mabait ka.

As I look at them like I couldn't believe that people like them existing. I mean, I am well aware that not everyone are knowledgeable regarding these kinds of situations. Iyon lang, hindi lang talaga ako makapaniwala na hindi nila alam iyon?

Because as far as I could remember, I mean, every time a person could hear it read the word Zombie, the words that will enter their minds are: Undead. Eating brains and flesh. Reacting to sounds.

While there people, they just confirmed it to me that not everyone has an idea regarding it.

I sighed heavily before answering his question. "Diba nga, zombies react to sounds. We are going to use it to lure them to our school's gym. At kapag nandun na sila tsaka tayo lalabas at pupunta sa guard house. Simple, smooth, and safe plan," I wiggled my eyebrow because my idea is cool, right?

"You have a point." Pagsang-ayon sa akin ni Zoe habang nakatingin ito sa kawalan at animo'y nag iisip. I look at her and smiled proudly. I know, right!

As I watched how their face turned light after realizing my point... or maybe they just agreed because it's the only plan that we have right now, after all, we need to trust ourselves and people's capabilities around us in able to survive a situation like this.

"We can do your plan 'cause it's connected to every part of this school. Astig nitong basement na 'to promise!" Naa-amaze na sabi ni Nathan at mabilis na pinatunog na ang speaker sa gym kung saan halos lahat ng zombies ay nagpuntahan. Wait I haven't... I sighed as I smile. Yeah, I may be the one who must give order but everyone here has their own choices to make.

We all turned our attention to the monitor where zombies are being attracted to sounds- that's what we could see right now and truth to be told, watching them as how they ran- a little slower of course, to the gymnasium where the sound is coming from.

As I tensed when I realized something. "Oh my god, baka may tao sa gym!" Bigla kong sabi at mabilis akong pumunta sa harap ng monitor at tumingin dito, ngunit hindi alam ang gagawin o ang pipindutin lalo na't hindi ako gamay sa computers! I mean, I know the basic, but when it comes to advance keys like something that Nathan is doing, I don't know anything about it!

Thankfully, Nathan got what I'm trying to do that I saw clicked something on the keyboard with his fast hands that I couldn't help but be amazed, just before the monitor changed and right now, every part of gymnasium is what I could see that I've observed everything to look something that could lead for me to know if there's person inside the gymnasium. N siyang ikinahinga ko ng malalim dahil wala akong makita.

Mabuti na rin iyon, lalo na kung magstay kayo sa gym, makukulob kayo kung saan maaari kang palibutan ng zombies at sabi ko nga, kulob iyon kung saan isang malaking pinto lang ang entrance and exit, bukod sa nag iisang emergency exit.

As we watched how those zombies disappeared... no, they've lessen unlike earlier that they almost occupied the whole field but right now, almost everyone of them goes to the gymnasium in which confirmed my thoughts- they really reacting to sounds, as I couldn't help but smile as I faced them.
