Ch:12 You Are It

SHELBY'S POV:

Johnson was about to look under the bed,  but there was a loud bang from downstairs. He jumped up and ran down the steps. Gunfire erupted then something dropped to the floor. I panicked thinking it was one of the group members.

I rolled out from under the bed then I ran down the steps to see what happened. Andy followed me. There was a walker laying on the floor. Johnson looked back and smiled when he saw us. He said "well, well, well. Look who it is. Put your hands in the fucking air".

We did as he said. He put his machine gun away then got out a pistol. He got closer to us then he said "one of you is going to die. Then the other will wait with me for Ruby to return. I have some things Id like to tell her. I also want to have a little chat with your group members. I especially wanna talk to the redneck".

I stepped forward and said "I wont let you hurt anyone. Nobody did anything wrong to you. Why settle for revenge on good people that are trying to save the fucking world? Just let us go and leave us all alone. If you don't you will have to deal with me and I don't think you wanna do that".

Johnson laughed then said "oh geez Im so scared of a 5 foot little girl thats like 12 years old. You wont do shit to me". I said "to correct you Im about 18 now and so what if I'm extremely short. I could still kick your ass and kill you at the snap of a finger". He laughed again then said "thats a good one! You wouldn't be able to lay a finger on me".

He was trying to piss me off to make the first move. I stepped forward, but Andy grabbed me and pulled me back. Johnson aimed his gun at Andy then said "you stay the fuck away. Don't touch her either". Andy said "shes my girlfriend. But I'm not holding her back because Im worried about her. Im holding her back so she doesn't kill you".

I pulled away from Andy then I stood there. I looked at Johnson then I said "give me one good reason to kill you please. I wanna rip you limb from fucking limb". He smiled and said "well this for starters". He aimed the gun at Andy then pulled the trigger.

I quickly pushed Andy out of the way and took a bullet in the shoulder. I ran after him and we ran through a big glass window. We fell on the ground so I started to wail punch after punch on his face. Johnson snuck in one good and powerful upper cut to me so I fell off of him.

Within those few seconds he grabbed me and held me at gunpoint. Johnson yelled "EVERYBODY LISTEN UP. We are gonna go back into the room and have a little chat". He brought the back of his gun up then down on the back of my head.

It made me dizzy so I dropped to the floor. My vision was still blurry and my ears were ringing. He grabbed my by my hair and dragged me into the room. I was too weak to fight back so I let him drag me so I could conserve my energy.

Once we were in the room Johnson pressed a big red button. It sounded an alarm that brought about 10 well armed men into the room. They formed a circe around us and held us all at gunpoint

Johnson smiled then said "now is the part where you drop your guns and kick them over to me. After you do that we are going to tie you all up then we are going to have a little chat".

The men lowered their weapons and pulled out white cable ties. They went around us and grabbed our arms. They put them behind our backs then ties our hands together. Then one of the men handed Johnson a baseball bat with barbed wire wrapped around it with nails sticking out of the wood.

Johnson twirled it in his hands then he said "now, lets have that little chat". He paced back and forth looked at us as he said "man oh man. Where to start? Oh well how about...Hi I'm Johnson for those of you who don't know me. If you don't hopefully there are no hard feelings about this. But anyways... Im a reasonable man, but when people go behind my back and try to stop me I get mad. Its just a really shitty thing to do".

He drug the bat on the floor then he stopped at Ruby. He said "oh Ruby. You saw a side of me I never wanted you to see. You are such a good friend of mine. I fell in love with you Ruby. You were so sweet and super beautiful.  I wish you liked me back. I also want you to forget what you saw on that video tape".

Ruby sat there crying. She was terrified. She managed to say "ok I'll forget the tape I promise". He smiled and said "good girl". He walked away from her and walked over to Daryl. He pointed the bat at him and said "hello again redneck. Now I really don't know you, but I dont really like you".

Daryl said "I've done absolutely nothing to you". Johnson said "I know, but I have a bad feeling about you. You seem like you would be one to overthrow me. I don't take kindly to people who overthrow leaders. Thats also a shitty thing to do".

Daryl laughed then said "well listen here you son of a bitch. If I don't kill you I can promise you that Shelby will. We are two people you don't wanna fuck with. So go ahead and kill me, but if you do you will die next. Then I'll greet you down in hell".

Johnson laughed then he said "well lets play a little game. Its simple". He went down the line of us and played Eeny Meeny Miny Moe. He, however, cheated and skipped around with people. He smiled as he said "You. Are.It". Then he pointed to.....
