A Common Misconception

ReaLynn God Made Girls

It's a common misconception that girls are prissy, giggly, fragile, vulnerable, weak, ditsy, and the list goes on. Now in some ways, girls are some of these things. We can be "giggly" but inside we're just happy to be alive. We can be "fragile" in a sense that we're easy to break, if that makes any sense. What I mean is we should be handled with care. I have a Harry Styles quote that kinda proves my point:

💞"It takes two seconds to tell a girl she's fat, but she'll spend a lifetime trying to starve herself. Think be for you act".💞 There you go. Back to what I was saying...

Girls are thought to be weak because we're usually not the ones to be out wrestling in the dirt with one another like boys are. Most girls --even tomboys-- are usually more dramatic. If boys fight it's usually a quick shove into a locker then their best friends again. Girls on the other hand, fights can go on for days. That's just a quick example.

Girls are made of other things as well energy, strength, spirit, toughness, determination, and so much more. I personally am willing to dress up but I also will go and be covered head to toe in mud. I'll go to the school dance but I'll also go hunt and fish. This quote by Bethany Hamilton says it all:

💞"Courage, sacrifice, determination, commitment, toughness, heart, talent, guts. That's what little girls are made of, to heck with the sugar and spice."💞

Well said Bethany, well said. Just because your expected to be something doesn't mean you have to be that thing. You can be who and what you want to be.

The lyrics to this song can be taken two ways. One is that girls were created to have an impact on the world. "He stepped back and told the boys I'm 'bout to rock your world." Also that girls are tough and gentle at the same time. "He needed something soft and loud and sweet and proud,But tough enough to break a heart
Something beautiful, unbreakable, that lights up in the dark".

Though this isn't a Christian song it can be taken that way. That's why I used it for this entry. To show you that is God didn't see you as valuable, he wouldn't have created you. So um... yeah... you're valuable. You have God approval.
