Chapter 14

Previously:

I reply to her. "I'm right here in Oklahoma haha" I send it and shut twitter off. I look at the time and realize it's 10:31! I've got to go to bed. What will the boys and I do tomorrow since Indieana will be at school? I think I've got an idea. I smile to myself and lay down, asleep before my head hits the pillow.

Indieana:

I wake up to the sound of my alarming blaring. I groan, sitting up and pulling my tangly hair out of my way. I groggily look at the clock and freak. 7:20! Jewels is gonna be here in 10 minutes!

I jump outta bed throwing on my new black bra and matching undies. I quickly throw on my skirt and crop top while jumping around trying to put my shoes on. I bet I look like a weirdo jumping around. I successfully have all my clothes on in 5 minutes and I rush to my mirror.

Oh my god. My hair is doing this pretty wavy thing but it's poking in every direction and I don't know if I have enough time to fix this. I do the only thing I can, and part it to the side and pat it down. It still looks crazy but it's the best I'm going to get.

I bring all my school stuff with me and I run to the bathroom. It's kinda hard if your wearing Doc Martens. It's more like clomping everywhere. I make it to the bathroom without tripping and brush my teeth. I check my time and see that I have 3 minutes to scrounge something together and call it a breakfast.

"Bye sweetie, I'm off to work. Love you!" my mom calls to me from the front door. "Bye mom, love you!" I yell trying to make breakfast. I've made toast with blueberry jelly when Niall comes down.

I almost drop the toast I'm eating because when I see him, I am completely entranced. He walks down in boxers and nothing else. He's rubbing the back of his head, showing off his abs and chest. He's got a slight happy trail that lowers to you-know-where. His hair is all mussed and his eyes have the I-just-woke-up-look. He's padding his way towards me with a tired smile on his face. My heart skips a beat and I can't stop smiling now. He looks so adorable.

"Hello Indie," his voice sounding raspy.
"Uh...hi Niall." I whisper, gawking at him still. "What's for breakfast?"

"I have to go but I guess whatever you can find." I hear a honk outside and that's my cue to leave. "Well I have to go to school unfortunately. If I don't come back alive, know that I've died because school is surely going to kill me."

I wave at him and grab my stuff and walk out the door. I hear Harry shout "Bye love, text me!" I don't have Harry's number. Or any of the boys number for that matter. I jump in the car and we are out of the neighborhood within a few seconds.

"So..." I prompt, trying to get Jewels talking about Nate. "So what?" she replies, trying not to giggle. "What about you and Nate?" She can't help it and a huge smile starts to form on her face. "Are you going to tell me about it or are you going to leave me in suspense?" I inquire.

She begins to tell me her tale when I get a text. I pull my phone out and it's from someone I don't know.

I don't know...that's why I asked.

don't put "xx" since I don't know you.

"And that's how he asked me out! Isn't it romantic?" she asks, looking at me quickly before turning to look back at the road. "That's lovely Jewels! I'm so happy you found someone like Nate," I tell her sincerely. Jewels needs someone like him to make her feel special. Soon enough, we arrive at the school.

We get out of the car and walk towards the front when I receive another text from this unknown person.

I immediately put his name in my phone.

oh! well hi Harry.

shouldn't you be in class?

class hasn't started yet.

I hit send and lock my phone, focusing on school and friends sitting on our bench and not what Harry might say.

"...I haven't figured out how to do the distance formula because the teacher didn't explain it enough," Jewels says while pulling her work out.

"Here, I'll explain it to you." I proceed to tell her how to work the problem until the bell rings for first period. We pick our stuff up and walk inside when suddenly, I make contact with the ground.
