“Unhand me,” said Lizzie as Sid let her go.

“All right, all right, keep your knickers on.”

“Where am I?” she asked as Arthur popped up.

“Thera.”

“Whera?”

“We did the Italian thing earlier. Thera is the earth like planet behind the sun.”

“Pah,” pahed Lizzie, “don’t you know anything about cosmology, we would see it in the sky when both the earth and it travelled to their furthest orbits around the sun.”

“It is partly phased into another dimension,” interjected Arthur, “the Author…”

“Shhh,” said I to shut Arthur up.

“Eh?” queried Arthur.

“Time freeze,” commanded I as everything stopped dead still, “except Sid and Arthur.”

Arthur looked around, “I thought time freeze was an old device from live role playing.”

“Yes,” continued Sid, “players had to shut their eyes so that the Games Master could set something up secretly.”

“My universe, my rules. I shouldn’t have to explain myself.”
