“I trapped his thumb in a door and he hasn’t forgiven me,” explained Arthur.
“That’s rubbish,” balked Sid, “as if that would cause an android, who can’t feel his fingers, to chase after us with a view to a kill-ing us.”
A James Bond pun so early? Thought I.
“If you can remember Sid,” said Arthur, “when we were androids, I could feel my eyelashes.”
“Yeas,” yeased Sid, copying Arthur, “only because you were mis-wired.”
“At least I wasn’t mis-fired.”
“That’s not even related, or funny!”
Just then I decided to cut to the new bad guy/android.
In a corner of my mind, the part that can be creative, a thought took the form of a silver and black android. This android manifested in a darkened room, a single piercing beam shone on it and smoke filled the floor.
