Only Lies

No one's in a good place.

I walk to Tia's with Des one day before the move. When I got there I had a smile on my face. We begged and pleaded for Tia to be allowed out.
"Come on please its her last real night here." Then smile on my vanishing as the last four words come out of my mouth. She agreed and we went to Cody's house. Only to have Des leave moments later. I look at the time 4:45. I curse under my breath as I start feeling sick, remembering that Tia has to be in by 6:00. I'm really not gonna be able to do this. And I can't imagine how Keith or Roy will either.
"Keith what's wrong?" Tia asked.
"Roy" he said anger in his voice.
It occurred to me that we can't have one night. One peaceful night without drama! Jesus!
"What happened baby boy?" I ask rubbing his back for second to show compassion.
"He's mad at me."
"Why" Tia ask as I roll my eyes. He's always mad at him for some stupid reason.
"I don't know he won't tell me."
We discuss the problems between Keith and Roy for awhile and just as the conversation dies down Roy walks in encouraging the awkward silence to occur.
"You let's go." I sternly order Roy. I use my finger to make a come here motion as I walk down the stares and he follows, thankfully.
"What?" he bluntly questions.
"What happened between you and Keith...this time."
"Nothing he's mad at me."
"Yeah...huumm whhhy?"
"I don't know."
"Stay!" I point at him and he gives me that bitch please look, but stays. I run back up the stares and see Keith is ignoring Tia's helpful compassion.
"Okay why are you mad at Roy."
...No answer. And Tia's had enough. She gets up and walks down stares. I follow.
"Tia what's wrong?" I ask hoping its nothing important because I got to deal with the boys first.
"I'm just done with Keith, ya know I tried to help, but he don't want to talk soo...no."
"Okay Bbg calm down." We walk into the room Roy's in and I take Tia's phone to message Keith. Yep we are those people.
"So who are you gonna miss more." Roy asked and I immediately stepped between him and Tia.
"She gonna miss me way more than you." I tease in Roy's face.

After a long while of Roy and I going back and forth about who Tia will miss most and messaging Keith about him staying(he didn't!!), Tia had to go home. I told Roy he needed to come with me so we could solve all this, but he said he'd catch up with me.
Considering it was the second to last time I'd ever see her again I walked half way with her but split up with her about a block away from her house to go meet Keith.
"Alright, bye baby girl I'll see you tomorrow if I don't come over tonight." I say as I hug her holding back tears. When I started walking away I put my hands in my pocket and realized I still had Tia's key from when she asked me to hold it. I turn around to give it back to her, but I only see Roy following me finally. I wipe the tears away from my eyes and walk down to meet him.
"She went home?"
"Yeah" I sigh. We start walking to the factory where Keith was at and I just couldn't help but give into my aching heart. In the few short months I knew her Tia had become the closest friend if ever had.

Roy's POV

"You know she's really leaving?" Kitty whispered to more herself then me but I hummed a "mhm" in response. Kitty started crying, but I Didn't know what to do. I was already not in a good place to deal with my problems of the night, I don't think I can handle kitty's right now.
"You know if you stop thinking about it it helps, bitch." I tried in a joking manner but she just nodded and wiped her tears getting the point that there was another problem to be solved. I see Keith just about 6 feet down and kitty turns to me," your going to talk to him right???"
"Yeeeess
" okay well I just have to make sure because y'all say your going to but then never do."
I just nod and as we approach Keith he moves away and kitty grabs his arm and tries to pull him back. She eventually fails and ends up being pulled by Keith across down the ally. She let go and came back to walk with me. Considering Keith didn't want to talk I changed my mind too. Damn kitty's right we do that a lot.
She pulled Keith over to me again...tried to anyway. Then when she realized I was walking away she ran after me making me sprint away from her.
