Only Lies

The last day of freedom

I woke up and made my way up to Cody's room. He was already up playing his video game. This is my last night of freedom. Tia's coming back home today and I'm heading over there when she gets home. I message Keith and tell him to come to Cody's because I'm getting bored and awkward just siting here playing on his phone. Before Keith got here Roy did. He layed down beside and I played with his purple and black poncho. Keith came over around 11:00 and we all started watching YouTube videos on Cody's tv. We watched different funny videos for about six hours until I get told to go to Tia's. I get there and wait for 15 minuets before giving up and I go back to Cody's. I get up to the room and I'm hit with a wave if fatigueness. So I lie down on the bed, cuddle up with Roy and fell asleep. I woke up with a pounding headache and a question of if they knew I was asleep.
"Tia called just a second ago and wanted to talk to you." Keith tells me. And just. Like that his phone rings again but this time it's her mom.
"Hello" he answers the phone. " It's for you" he hands the phone to me.
"Hello?" I say my voice sounding like I just woke up.
"Oh why you got him lying telling Tia your asleep."
"No mrs. Diane I was asleep."
"Oh well kez wanna talk to you. " I look at the phone wondering if I heard her right. I guess I did because kezs voice sounded through the phone.
"Kitty!" he shouted. I swear he had to have thought I was deaf.
" Yeah?"
"Is Keith there?' I look at the phone again as if its gonna give me an answer as to why me. I hand the phone to Keith and lay back down with Roy. I notice that Cody's not in the room anymore. Roy gets up and shuts the door turns out the light and tells me to pick a movie.
"Big hero 6!!"
He sighs, but puts it on and lays back down with me. We got about twenty minutes into the movie before Cody comes upstairs.
"Thanks for asking if you guys could watch a movie. " He says obliviously pissed. We apologized.
"Hey wanna get outta here?" I nod and get up. We left and went to his house. We ended up going to the store at 10:30 with Toby and Sam. Roy and his brother kept dancing all the way there and back. Once Sam left I had to leave too.
"Can we talk the long way?" I plead as Roy shuts the door.
"Yeah. " He nods
"Can't I just stay out all night long?"
"No your staying at Cody's."
"Fine. "
We make our way up to Cody's room. Roy stays for about ten minutes but then left. To be honest when he said he needed to go and I needed to get off him I wanted to cry. Not because he was leaving but because one of the best nights me and him had ever had was coming to an end. I went to bed that night thinking everything might just start getting better. I know now that I was only wrong.
