chapter eleven

:tyler:

well today's finally wednesday. it's the third week where i have to see josh. im not excited for it at all.

i decided to hang out with jenna once again today in my backyard.

she was just sitting there in a really pretty sundress and the sun came down on her.

"hey, jenna. can i ask you something?"

"yeah, sure tyler!"

"alright work with me here, i think josh has a crush on me."

"how can you tell?"

"well why the hell were his friends flirting with me when i went to go visit him at work. he probably told them that he likes me."

"well that can't be the answ-"

i cut her off "and he just acts all flirty and awkward around me."

"tyler there has to be mor-"

"jenna, will you go out with me?"

her jaw dropped and she stared at me "well i've been waiting for that for awhile now. definitely!"

time to make josh jealous.

"jenna, follow me. we're going to find josh." i grabbed her hand and took her outside the back gate to go outside of josh's house.

i knocked on the door until one of his parents answered "hi, is josh home?"

"i think he went over one of his friend's house. he'll hopefully be home tonight."

"thank you!" i said as she closed the door on me.

"well where does he go to hang out?"

"do you know where his friends love or hangout at?"

"wait isn't he friends with that gerard kid or something? i went to high school with him, i think?"

"spill the tea, jenna."

"he was..um..i guess kind of a whore? he used to go around like teasing guys very sexually and sometimes even dating them. he was a very weird kid but he was good at drawing."

"well where does he live?"

"he lives on the same block as a few other people that i know so if they catch us, i'll say we were visiting someone."

"so you're telling me that we will find out where he is and act all flirty around him."

"yeah, pretty much!" she smiled to me.

"i can see how you make a good girlfriend."

she drove us down to his block, it was very ratty and not that high class. i feel like i just downgraded even walking down here.

"i'm assuming he lives on his own?"

"he lives with his boyfriend currently, i recognized him yesterday and i could tell that they were dating."

"we can't just knock on his door."

"let's just go in the driveway and see if i can tell which one is his house."

she grabbed my hand and took me to the back of all the houses. we began walking down and i heard a bunch of talking.

as we slowly got closer, we began to recognize the voices. we tiptoed to the closest point without getting caught and peaked into his driveway.

he was with josh and a bunch of other people. i ran behind jenna as she jumped back.

"you're better at this than me. keep your eye on them."

"um tyler, i think him and josh are about to- tyler they just kissed.

"they did what?" i brought my voice up slightly higher than a whisper."

it was close to 6pm and i need to get home. i grabbed jenna's hand and ran back to her car "let's blast."

tonight is going to be interesting.
