chapter ten

wednesday was finally here and it's the day when the little manipulative cheater comes over.

i throw on the nearest pair of clothes and went downstairs to let everyone know that i'm going out.

my two friends invited my over just to keep me away from tyler.

"i'm going out for awhile!" i yelled from the front door.

"you better be back before 6, that's when the guests get here!" my mom yelled back. i lied to her and said that i will be home in time.

there's no way in hell that i'm seeing tyler. i speed-walked my way down to gee's house. the faster i get there, the better it is.

i was greeted at the door by gerard who looked like he just rolled out of bed.

"sorry i look like a mess, my life is a mess." he giggled at me.

he dragged me out to his backyard where it looked like him and frank were playing a game.

"we weren't doing much without you so guess you can hop your little ass in."

something on the inside is telling me that gerard and frank probably made out or some shit before i got here. they looked like a mess.

we sat in a circle on the slightly cold pavement and the questions immediately began.

"did you see tyler at all today?"

"nope, he's supposed to come over my house today but i'm not home. he's stuck with the parents today." i giggled menacingly.

"good, you're stuck here with us." he pulled frank closer into his jacket and hugged him for warmth.

"well i guess i came to third wheel for you guys." i joked around.

"you wouldn't be a third wheel if tyler wasn't such of an asshole. yeah, the boy may be cute but his attitude sure isn't."

"what if tyler and i started dating."

"we could have those cute little double dates like in the movies and then it turns into pure chaos! great!"

we just sat in silence for about a minute until frank finally spoke "i can get the neighbor kids out here and we could do something fun?"

"that sounds like a great idea, frankie. alright josh, you sit here with frank and i'll go knock for some kids real quick."

gerard ran off into the distance to go find other people to hang out with. why do i get slightly nervous by his "plans"

knowing him, he'd probably bring like some crack whore and shit.

"well josh, i haven't really gotten to speak with you about tyler yet."

"yeah, you really haven't. how's things between you and gerard though?"

"actually really great. i just feel slightly guilty since you're stuck here single as your two friends constantly go fucking each other every few days."

"so you had sex with him?"

he smirked at me and shrugged, letting out a slight giggle.

we heard the door slam open, it was gerard. he's so noisy that he could probably wake up half of this neighborhood.

"alright hoes, meet ryan and brendon. they live down the street."

in synchronized voices, we all welcomed them. gerard went back into the recycling bin and throw an empty milk bottle at us in the circle.

"let's play spin the bottle! we have no lives on this wednesday so let's spend it making out with each other."

ryan just stared at the empty bottle of milk "can we switch to a water bottle?"

he exchanged it for a water bottle finally.

gerard spun the bottle first and it landed on brendon "truth or dare?"

"truth!" he yelled proudly.

"is it true that you have a crush on ryan?"

brendon turned red and was blushing profusely "y-yes, it is true."

ryan's smile just lit up as he hugged brendon "that makes two of us!"

"alright i'm going to stop you right there. i don't need to boys having sex on my property if it isn't with me."

they giggled as they returned back to their seats. gerard spun the bottle again and it landed on josh "truth or dare?"

"dare?" i said sounding very questionable.

"i dare you to kiss me." he smirked.

i didn't want to hold anything back. gerard leaned over and i kissed him right on the cheek.

he smiled and yelled "fuck, you're a good kisser!"
