Pt. 9 "Dr. Alphys"

( 3 person POV)

The four children were all in their cell, sans and papyrus were shaking and shivering in fear, while they were trying their best to heal the gaping cuts that were surrounding the two female's throats.

"Wh-Why did Dr. Gaster DO that to them?? T-they didn't deserve this!" Papyrus spoke shakily, as she was healing Dg's throat slowly.

"B-Because he WANTED to! that's why!" Sans snapped while he was healing Sami, as the female duo lied down on their cold wooden beds, they were clearly shivering in their sleep.

"Y-you dont know that!" Papyrus replied, concerned for the female's health and safety.

"Are you joking?! how ELSE would he do such a thing?! what other reason would he have!? for what OTHER reason would he have in attempt to disable their voices?!!" Sans yelled to his younger brother, his white pupils disappeared, and his left eye began flaring with a deep red while tears began forming in his eye sockets

"S-sans! please! calm down~! y-you're going to wake them" papyrus placed his bony finger to his teeth, trying to hush his brother, who was completely furious from what gaster did to the poor feline and canine girls. "I-im scared for them too... i...i.... i wanna help them." Tears began to trickle down papyrus' cheekbones, and he began to slur and stutter as he spoke "I-..i-i- w-wan-na /sniff/ h-e-ehl-lp ...th-the-em in... in any /sob/ way g-gGHHHH!! p-possible! /hic/ s-san-ns! im sc-scared for them!"

Sans looked at his brother with a hurt look in his eyes, it was painful to see his little brother so sad, his eyes began glowing a soft blue, and he wrapped his arms around papyrus as the younger skeleton continued sobbing. "h-hey, jeez, come on bro. It's okay, im scared for them too..."

Papyrus hugged sans back, as his eyes began glowing bright orange, he shook and sobbed into sans' arms "H...he has to s-stop, brother... h-he has to..."

The skeleton Duo looked down at Sami and Dg, they noticed throughout the commotion they were making, Sami and Dg were holding hands tightly, their breathing was shaky, and they were breathing ever so lightly.

"Hey, come on paps, we gotta heal them fast... or else they'll die, god knows what else will happen if they do die... alright?"

"o.../sniff/ okay brother... you're right...

Gaster sat alone in his lab, leaning over his desk, so many things were banging around in his skull, He had just attempted to get rid of S-3 and D-4's voices, without ANY knowledge of what he was doing. Gaster shakily looked over to a Picture frame on the corner of his desk, in side of the picture frame, was a photo of Gaster himself, with a yellow, short reptilian Monster, wearing glasses, who appeared to be wearing a labcoat. Gaster sighed and grabbed the photo and looked at it, as his hand shook. "ah... Dr. Alphys, a good friend..." even though he was completely shocked over what had happened earlier, a small smile threatened to show at the corner of his mouth, something he almost NEVER does...

His hand was shaking so much, the picture frame slipped out from his hand, he then yelped and tried the catch the picture frame, it fell to the floor with a loud Shatter, Gaster sighed and rubbed his head sadly as he looked down at the now shattered glass that was covering the picture inside, he knelt down and slowly picked up the photo, he grunted as he stood up, placing his hand on his back "Ugh... iv'e been working myself down to the 'bone' lately... If only i could get some proper sleep..."

A Small giggle could be heard from behind him, Gaster flinches and looked behind him as he saw the reptilian monster from the photo, the female monster snorted and giggled louder as she looked at the scientist. "oh my god Dr. Gaster, your 'humerus' personality hasn't changed a bit" The monster snickered at her bad pun.

"D-Dr. Alphys!" Gaster exclaimed, walking over to the short monster, "It's good to see you, what are you doing here?"

Alphys looked up at him with a confused expression painted on her face. "Dr. Gaster... We're partners, it's only been a couple of days since iv'e been down here, it's not like iv'e been gone for years, am i right?" Alphys smiled, showing her buck teeth, while pushing up her glasses.

"I....Suppose that's true." Gaster said with a chuckle, nervously rubbing the back of his skull, his slightly amused expression melted into a frown, as he sighed. "Actually Dr. Alphys... im kind of glad your here now."

"mhm, and why do you say that Dr. Gaster?" Alphys asked, pushing her glasses up to the bridge of her nose.

Gaster sighed, as he looked down at her, his eye sockets were completely black, and his glasses were gleaming, reflecting a white light off his glasses.

"Dr. Alphys... We need to talk...."
