Alphys' POV
"D-Dr. Gaster! I-I-I n-need to t-talk to you f-for a m-m-moment!" I stuttered, as i walked into the room.
"Hmm? What is it alphys?" Gaster asked, spinning around in his swivel stool, turning to face me
"a-ah... w-well... its the children... I know you said y-you wanted to g-give them to m-me a-and....well? I.....I Accept..." I looked up at gaster.
"Oh! Good!" He seemed rather happy that I had accepted his offer.
"W-Wait, R-Really?" I asked, I was confused.
"Yes, Dr. Alphys. I trust you with the children."
"O-Oh...well, T-Thank you Dr. Gaster. I just figured that you would be a little more sad that I... that you would b-"
"I am..." He said.
My eyes widened. I was shocked that Gaster would miss them. not too long ago he said that he didn't even care for them. But now I was happy that he did show a little bit of caring for the children.
"Alphys. I know what I said before, That I didn't care,. That I didn't love them. But honestly, I do. Ever since you came here and told me to be more nice toward them. I don't think I understood what real love was, And I thank you for opening my eyes-... well 'eye sockets' to that."
I teared up at what he said. I was so happy that he understood, I smiled my best smile, I opened my mouth to speak, but before I could say anything...
"I need you do make a serum so that none of the children will remember anything of me." Gaster said.
I felt my heart drop, as it shattered when it hit my stomach, this...was so...unexpected. why? why does he need them to forget him?"B-but Dr. Gaster...Why??" I asked, shocked.
"Because. when the children are with you, and when they grow older, I don't want them to have any memory of me, it'll scar their lives too badly...and that's not what I want for them. I want them to live free lives, I dont want them to live as subjects, but as real children, who have a real life. the children are all Free Spirits, and they learn so fast. It would make them unhappy to live in this cold, dark laboratory, so.. I'm Glad you agree to take the children, but I want you make them forget about me..."
Gaster looked down at me, I couldn't tell what he was feeling, he didn't look happy, he didn't look heart broken, he didn't look angry, he seemed as if he was...soulless, he spoke calmly, and Tender-like, as if this is what was best for the children, I have known gaster for a long time, he's my best friend, and he knows what's best, he's very smart, kind, caring, and an amazing leader, I have never doubted him, I wanna be there for him to the end.
I sighed, looking up at gaster, and nodded "A-alright... I'll s-see what I c-can do Dr. G-Gaster..."
"Thank you Alphys."
I disappeared back above to my laboratory. And instantly got started on the serum.
And All that went through my head were Gaster's words:
"I don't want them to remember me..."((AND YET ANOTHER PART! hope you guys liked it :D we are literally at the end of the story just one or two more parts plus an author's note.
