"Dad, I've packed my things. But I'll want to stay at Jessica's house for these few days before we go."

"Well, I'll be postponing our flight this week to the following week."

"What's with the sudden changes?"

"Err.. Well, I've heard you have great interest in fashion designing.. So, I've secretly applied LA's famous arts and design school for you. Dad wants to let you know that I will always be here to support you. And, well, they have accepted you." Tiffany's father handled Tiffany a letter.

Tiffany's mind is confused. So confused. She read the letter before he continued, "I know you've always show no interest in my business. It's fine. You could look for your dream now."

"Oh my god.." Tiffany murmured as she continued reading the letter.

"I didn't send it to LA because of.. your brother issue.. It's because Professor Smith introduced this school, therefore I applied for you there. I know you're angry that I've acted without your consent.. You could choose to not go and continue.."

"DAD! I LOVE IT!" Tiffany jumped and wrapped her arms around her father's neck. Her father's shock changed to a proud smile. "I'm glad. Since we're going to LA, we shall find your brother and get you settle down at once. We will be leaving a little later, so you could pack more of your stuff and I'll courier it for you."

"Thanks daddy!!!" Tiffany hugged her father once again and gave him a peck on his cheek. Tiffany smelled freedom. She was afraid to take up her father's business since she has always joined the dinner and dance. Finally she could be herself. She was also jumping in joy that her father has continued to be a good father and their relationship got back like before when she is a little girl.

Tiffany held her chopsticks and stared at Taeyeon who is busy gobbling, "Tae.."

"Eat more eat more! Why are you only eating the rice?!" Taeyeon frowned and picked some beef and vegetables to Tiffany's bowl.

"Tae.." Tiffany stretched her hand and held Taeyeon's hand.

"What?"

"Will you miss me if I go for a few days?"

"Of course! I actually hate you to leave but.. Grrr...... I shall sacrifice!" Taeyeon said and took his fist to hit his chest several times like a dork.

"Hm.. me too. Well.. what if I were to leave for 2 years?"

"WHAT?! I COULD JUST KILL MYSELF."

"A-Are you serious..?" Tiffany startled by Taeyeon's reaction. She knew he could be serious.

"Fany ah, don't leave me for too long.. My heart can't take it" Taeyeon pouted and gave the cutest puppy eyes. "Arasso." Tiffany stood up and gave a peck on the fat lips.

When the night came, Taeyeon fell into deep sleep after studying intensively with his girlfriend. Tiffany stared at the cute sleeping figure, cuddling with the dookong. "I can't bear to leave you too.."

"Tae, will you still love me if I .. I.. go for.."

"What are you trying to say?" Taeyeon became worried. He gently caressed her hand to calm her down.

"If I go for further studies in LA for 2 years."

"WHAT?! Are you serious? So last night you're serious?!"

"Tae.. I really love fashion designing, and it's a great opportunity that one of the top arts school in LA has already accepted me."

"Why didn't you tell me..? So did you already plan to find your brother, along with 2 years in LA without telling me?"

"No! It's just that, my father has sent the application long before looking for my brother. And I didn't hide it from you Tae, that's why I'm telling you!"

"Fany, I could accept you leaving for days but not years! How can we be separated for so long?!"

"Tae, I'm just going for studies I will come back, I promise."

"It's easy for you isn't it? But do you know it's not easy for me? In the first place, I did not go Japan to live with my family is because of you, Fany, YOU."

"Did I say it's easy for me?! Why can't you just continue to be the guy who is understanding and let me go for my future?!"

"You're my future, Fany. And yet the fact that you're leaving is equivalent to destroying my future as well."

Taeyeon turned his back on Tiffany and kicked the couch before running upstairs. He's hurt. So hurt.

He sacrificed his wealth and family just for her but Tiffany could just simply give up living here and go overseas for years.

He didn't want to part with the girl when they just got together. And now, she's leaving him.

Taeyeon bite on his fist and burst out in tears silently in his room. Tiffany hurt sobs behind the door and decided to leave him alone. Her heart is breaking as well. She didn't thought Taeyeon will reacted this way.

"I.. I don't think I'm going."

"Am I hearing it wrong?!" Michelle slammed the cup of ice lemon tea on the table after taking a sip.

"What happen, Tiff? I thought you're so excited about it and we are actually meeting up as an act of celebration?"

Tiffany stirred her cup of Americano lifelessly. A sigh was heard by her sister. "Don't tell me it's because of that boy." Michelle frowned and was about to flare.

"Oh.. You knew about Taeyeon?" Jessica was shocked.

"Long ago." Michelle shook her head.

Tiffany slightly nodded.

"Why?! Did he not let you fufil your dream?! What the fuck is wrong with him?!"

"Woah woah woah, Mich, chill! Taeyeon is not that unreasonable. I think he just couldn't bear Tiffany to go.. right?" Jessica defended Taeyeon.

"I couldn't bear to separate from him as well.. It's a tough decision but they are my love! I do not know what to choose!"

"You shouldn't give up your future for man, no wait, a boy." Michelle corrected herself.

"Honestly, I agree. If Taeyeon really loves you, he will want you to be happy, and your happiness is your dream, your future. If you guys were meant to be, you will eventually still be together after you graduated." Jessica spoke up. "Like us! We will still be in contact, bitch around and even shop after you come back. 2 years is not really long."

"I agree.. But how can I possibly give him up simply because I want?"

"You're not giving up, you're putting him to a test." Michelle said.

Tiffany hesitated but eventually agreed. If Taeyeon is matured enough, he will understand and wait for the girl to return.

"It's a big risk, but I think I will have to."
