"You freak!" The kid said to me as he pushed me to the ground. "I'm not a freak, I'm a monster." I told him, offended by his insult. "We know that, but even then you're different from other monsters. First of all, your father looks too human to be a monster, the only difference is his claws, and your mom is some sort of bird-monster thing. And second of all your eyes are different colors. One eye is period red and the other is blue like the sky. You don't even belong with other monsters, you freak." He finished his sentence with a hard punch to my stomach, knocking me down on the ground. "Don't make fun of my family..." I said, rolling around on the ground in pain. "Or what kid? Will you fight us back, or run to your daddy like the little bitch you are?" Replied the bully. He was alone, I could probably take him, but... Truth be told I was scared. He was 13 and I was just 5, plus human's have always been stronger than monsters, but could I still win? I got back up and stared him in the eye for 30 seconds. "Well kid? You gonna answer my question or will I have to beat you up without your consent?" He said to me, crossing his arms impatiently. I responded by punching him in the chest, making him stumble back. I then elbowed him in the stomach. While he kneeled over I kicked him in the face, knocking him down to the ground. "I can fight for myself. Leave me and my family alone, or else next time will be worse." I told him, as I continued my walk back home. "You'll pay for this someday kid! Just you wait!" I heard him scream at me. I knew how to fight since I was born. Never will I forget how.

2 years later....

"Isn't she beautiful?" My mom asked my dad as she held the newborn child. "Of course she is. She's our daughter after all." My father told her, making her giggle softly. "You know," my dad started to say, "I think Blue should give her the name, don't you think Chelly?" My father asked my mother, to which she responded with a nod. "I think so too, Gabe." I couldn't believe it, I got to name my baby sister. 7 years old and already making mature decisions. "How about... Red?" I asked them. "That makes sense... Blue and Red... Yeah... Yeah, I like it. Good job Blue, I'm proud of you son." My dad said as he rubbed my head playfully. From this day on I would protect her, and our parents.

5 years later...

"Good morning big brother!" Red said to me as she shook my body to get me up. "Good morning sis." I told her as I started to wake up. "Do you remember what today is?" She asked me smiling. "Is it your first day of school?" I asked her, and when I did she jumped up and down in glee. "Yay! You did remember!" She said in excitement. "Yep, how could I forget, after all it was the biggest day of my life too. Well, one of them." I told her as I got out of my bed. "Now let me get dressed so I can bring you there." I told her. The day she was born was just 9 days after moving underground. Our parents tried to come with us, but our dad stayed behind, so the humans killed him. Now it was just me, Red, and our mother left. Our mother said goodbye to us as we left the house.

1 year later...

We were on our way back home from the Underground school when we saw the Royal Guard at our house. Panicked, me and Red ran to our house to ask what happened. "Go away kids, this is a investigation." The first guard said. "But sir, this is where we live. What happened?" I asked again, concerned about our mother. The guard was silent for a minute, then finally responded. "Kids, I'm sorry to say this, but... Your mother was just murdered." The guard told us in hesitation. Red immediately hugged me and started crying. "Sir, who was it that killed her?" I asked in a serious tone. "Well, we believe it was a human that recently fell down. Last witness said he was heading towards the castle." He told me. "Watch her for me, I'll be back in a minute." I told him as a shoved Red towards him. I ran into our house and grabbed dad's swords. I ran outside, flapped my wings, and flew off to Asgore's castle as fast as I could. I flew into the hallway before Asgore's room and heard footsteps. I quickly headed behind a pillar so I could surprise him. I peeked out and noticed he was wearing a cloak. I quickly jumped out once he was close enough and knocked him down to the ground. I took off his hood and saw his face. His face was... Familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. "Why'd you do it?" I asked him, before he could answer I noticed his LV count. Exactly the amount my mom has? That means... I thought to myself. "Why'd you only kill her? Why specifically my mom? Why no one else? Tell me!" I yelled at him, wanting answers. "I'm surprised you forget who I am, Blue," He said. "You freak." I gasped and got off of him. No way... I thought. No way it can be him... As he got up, he took out his sword and stared at me. "I told you you'd pay." He said to me as he slowly walked towards me. "So I thought 'I'll kill his mom!' And that's what I did." I took out both of my swords. "You call me a freak, well you're no better!" I screamed at him as I charged forward. I swung each of my swords at him, but I kept missing. Finally one of them hit and I cut him in half. Someone saw me do this and stared at me. They had a black body and a skeleton-like face. I noticed them and stared back. Soon he started to walk towards me. I told him it wasn't what it looks like, but he kept walking forward. "Hello there small child." He started to say when he got close enough to me. "My name is W.D Gaster. I am the Royal Scientist. I saw what you did, and it was rather impressive." He said to me. "Thanks?" I replied, a little confused about the situation. "I want to give you this paper. It is a application for the Royal Guard. If you don't want to apply now, that is fine, but we would love to have you a part of it. Now go on home. I'm sure your sister is worried about you." He told me after handing me the application. I flew back home and apologized to my sister if I made her worried. The Royal Guard gave us a new home in Snowdin, right next to a dog that threw ice in the river. We have to move because the human decided to burn the house down too. Me and Red went to sleep that night. Before I went to bed I promised her that we would meet the people of Snowdin in the morning. The next morning before we headed out we heard that the scientist I met, Gaster, fell into The Core, but was replaced with a new scientist, Alphys. After that I decided that I would fill out the application, we needed money after all, while we got ready to meet new people.
