Chapter 10: A Savage End

As we waited, I saw Undyne walk over. She looked at me for a minute, and finally she asked who I was and what I was doing here. I soon told her about what happened in Snowdin, and told her to hide as fast as possible. She just smiled and said "Sounds like I'll finally get a challenge. A warrior doesn't hide, they stand and fight till the end, and I refuse to hide from a small child." With that she decided to wait for him with us, when he finally showed up. He saw me standing there with Undyne and said "Not you again. I spared you, and yet here you are, standing your ground with this fish lady. When will you learn to give up?" I took at my swords and Undyne summoned her spear. "I'll never give up." I responded, and with I spread my wings and charged at him. I swung one of my swords, but he shrugged and blocked it with his knife. I swung my other sword, but he jumped away. Damn, I thought to myself. He's fast. How'd he get this fast? He charged at me and tried to stab me while I was lost in thought, but Undyne blocked it with a spear. "Hey kid," she said as she looked at me. "Don't get distracted in the middle of battle, got it?" I nodded and charged at him again. Our weapons collided until he hit one of my swords out of my hand. We then had our weapons clash into a struggle, where it seemed about even. Then, he slowly started to inch closer to my neck. Undyne ran over and kicked him off of me before it was too late. "Thanks for that." I said. She nodded and threw more spears at the Frisk, who kept jumping out of the way. While he was distracted I stabbed him in the back. He wasn't expecting this and yelled out in pain. I pulled it out quickly and kicked him into the air. I flew up and then sliced him down towards Undyne, who threw a spear into his stomach. He landed back onto the ground, and his body wasn't moving. "I think it's over..." I said, panting as I was getting tired. I took the body of the Frisk and threw it off the bridge. Fig ran up to me and gave a "celebration hug" as he called it. He opened up the portal back and we stepped through it. Black was sitting in a chair, waiting for us. "I thought it was you two who brought me here..." He said as he stared at us. "Well I wasn't going to leave you to die there!" I told him, to which he replied with a chuckle. "Yeah, I would've been charred black if you didn't help me back there." He said, letting out a laugh. Me and Fig both looked at him in annoyance at the joke he made. Black got up and asked me a favor. "So Blue, I want you to do something for me." He said. "What's the favor?" I asked him, to which he replied with "I need you to go above ground. A lot of people want to see you, especially this one monster. After that I need you to kill someone who might seem familiar to you. Do that, and I'll give you something in return. Deal?" He asked as he brought his hand out. "Ok, I guess..." I told him as I shook his hand. With that me and Fig went pack to where I was before it all began, and I went to head above ground. As I walked through the shattered barrier I said to myself "I wonder if anything has changed since the last time I was here."
