Chapter 35: The Fourth Round

Undyne and Banera immediately charged at each other when they heard the signal for the round to begin. Undyne threw a punch using her left fist at Banera's stomach. The attack collided and as a result the impact made Banera lurched forward, spit flying out of his mouth. Undyne than spun her body around and lifted up her right foot. She twisted her foot around so that the top of her foot would collide with Banera's side. The attack hit and Banera was sent flying towards the edge of the stage. With quick reactions, Banera pushed his hands onto the ground, stopping the momentum before he fell off the stage. Once he regained his balance, he quickly charged towards Undyne. Once he reached her, he started throwing punch after punch, hoping to hit at least one. Undyne kept blocking his punches. I could tell she wasn't giving it her all during this. Finally, Undyne became bored. She grabbed Banera's left hand during one of his punches. She than lifted him up, than threw him back onto the ground. Banera tried to get up, but all Undyne did was kick him and knocked him off the stage. Much like everyone else, she walked into the room where we were in.

"That was too easy. He was WAY too impatient." She said as she walked in. "Hey Kutaru, why do you wear that giant cloak?" I decided to ask. "Weighted." He responds in a straightforward tone. "If I wear this, it lowers my speed, but if I get fast enough to go max speed with it on, I go higher. It's to make my speed higher." "Oh, that makes sense." I responded. I turned to Gale. "Hey Gale, why do you have your wings wrapped around your body?" I asked her. "Oh, thats easy. This is just my way of moving. I've done this as long as I remember." She responded with a smile.

*Author note: And now, we skip all other rounds up to the semi-finals. Because nobody got time for like 100+ more fights. Call me lazy, but you'll thank me later ;)*

Soon, it was down to just us four: Me, Undyne, Gale, and Kutaru. First up for the semi-finals was me and Gale, then it would be Kutaru against Undyne. Almost immediately, me and Gale were called to the arena. When we walked onto the arena, the crowd started to cheer. I slowly got into my fighting stance, and waited for the signal for the match to begin.
