The car comes to a complete stop in District 12. The Peacekeepers open our doors, pull us out of the car, and throw us onto the street next to the Victors' Village. Peewee lands on his side and the Peacekeeper kicks him in the leg before running back to the Capitol Car and speeding away.

I hold out a hand to help Peewee up, but he ignores it and stands up on his own.

Fine then...

Hammy ignores us completely and goes into his mansion that he's lived in for years. I make my way to my mansion with Peewee, since we have to share a home.

Ugh.

Sharing a home with Peewee is going to be a complete nightmare. He hates me now, and probably always will...

As soon as I step inside Peewee pushes past me,

"I'm going to my room," he says sternly.

He runs up the stairs as if he's been in this house a million times, and I hear a door slam.

He can be angry for now, but tonight he needs to get his act together. As always, the night the victor arrives is the night of a celebration. Every district celebrates differently. District 12 makes the victor stand in the center of a stage and sing karaoke.

President Snowman came up with the idea.

That crazy bastard loves himself some karaoke.

We get to sing any song we want to, but if Peewee doesn't get it together, I'm going to make him sing Taylor Swift.

Peewee has hated Taylor Swift music since he was 4. His family used to listen to it every day when they taught Peewee how to bake bread.

I wake up to the sound of footsteps approaching me. I don't remember falling asleep, but somehow I ended up on the couch in the living room. Peewee walks over to me and sits down.

"I think we should sing an Alicia Keys song."

He seems to have simmered down from earlier.

"You like Alicia Keys?" I ask, ignoring his upbeat tone.

"I do. Now lets go, the celebration starts in 1 minute!" Says Peewee while pulling me off of the couch.

"Holy giraffes Peewee! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" I yell.

"Err... I like watching you sleep. But enough about that! Let's go!"

He pushes me out the door and we run to the newly set up stage outside, where a crowd is already anxiously awaiting our arrival.

"And now! The moment you've all been waiting for!" Says Hammy, who is standing in the center of the stage,"PEEWEE AND DOGPISS!"

Peewee quickly tells a Peacekeeper our song choice and we rush onto the stage. The crowd screams "Peepiss" about a thousand times, and holds up Peewee's legendary 'peace' sign from when we first arrived at the Capitol.

The song starts, and Peewee takes the first part as a solo. Then I take the second part, and it leads up to the chorus.

Finally we both join in to sing,

"THIS GIRL IS ON FIRE!"

We sing out the remainder of the song perfectly, and the crowd is chanting for an encore.

Peewee and I get off of the stage and Hammy runs back up to get on.

The crowd boos him for taking our place, but he begins talking anyway,

"Well wasn't that a treat!? Them bitches know how to sing!" He says. The crowd laughs and claps for us once again.

"That's all for tonight! Come back next year to see an all new victor sing another amazing song! Lets hope next year we get a victor who can actually sing!"

Hammy looks at Peewee and finishes his speech,

"I had a terrible time mentoring these two! Lets hope they're never picked for The Games again!" He pauses, and the crowd laughs,"But hey, what are the chances of that happening? Am I right people?"

The crowd laughs some more and Hammy gets down from the stage.

Peewee and I walk to our mansion after taking pictures with our fans.

"I'm pretty sure Hammy was drunk during that speech," I say.

"Most likely," says Peewee.

We arrive at our perfect little mansion, and Peewee turns to face me,

"Although I got my heart broken today, I still had a fun time singing with you. Thanks Dogpiss," he says.

I laugh nervously,

"Sorry for breaking your heart and everything Peewee. I hope you can understand that my mother just doesn't allow me to date yet."

Peewee's mouth drops open,

"Well I hope she lets you soon, I'm supposed to propose to you in the next book," he says.

"I sure hope so," I say.

Peewee and I jump in the air and give each other a high five, and we finally go inside our home.

"Goodnight Peewee," I say.

"Night, my hoe," Peewee says. He holds up a peace sign on his fingers and runs upstairs.

"Yes. Peace indeed," I whisper. I lay down on the couch and quickly fall asleep, forgetting my worries for the time being.
