Rebekah's point of view

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   I woke up the next morning at 9, I had barely gotten any sleep. The next week was a blur, all it was, was school. I've been attending Wellor Academy for 9 days now. I have gotten only 3 more nightmares, but that's it.
It's Tuesday, I believe it is unfair that we only get Sunday off! Back at my public school, we got Saturday and Sunday off. On Sunday, you can either stay in your room all day, go to tutoring, or hang out in the lunchroom, the library was also open, but only at certain times during the day.
     It was lunch and I was sitting with David, Bea, Victoria, and Angelica. Zachary had been missing for two days now.
     David noticed me staring at Zachary's empty seat, "Don't worry about him. I know where he is, it's fine.
     "Where is he?" I asked.
     "I can't tell you," he glanced over at Victoria and gave her a worried look.
"Ya, it's okay. Don't worry about it," Victoria said.
"Okay..." We finished eating and just talked for a while.
Zachary came out of nowhere and sat down. It was like he appeared out of thin air. There was sweat rolling down his face. He wiped his mouth on his sleeve. He was breathing as if he just ran a marathon.
I couldn't tell what confused me more, the fact that he appeared out of nowhere or that Zachary said, "He put up a fight," to David. Z
Upon closer inspection, he had a black eye and a busted lip.
"The brat got away too," Zachary said, he looked at me, " 'Sup Bekah."
"Hello." I replied.
"Um, Bekah, did you say you didn't finish your math home-" Victoria was cut off when someone slammed their hands on the table.
I held my gasp in, it was the fairies. Except, they didn't have wings, or fancy dresses, or weird colored hair. Their makeup looked normal too, (although one of them had a different color fountain than their actual skin)
"What do you want?" Beatrice asked.
The one in the middle, who had white hair before but now has bleach blonde, just smiled at me. Not a friendly smile either, it was the kind of smile that made you shiver.
"Crystal, can you please go away," David said.
     "Oh! Anything for Davey Wavey!" She said in a cutesy tone until her voice turned cold, "I'm not that kind of girl anymore. The obedient, shy girl, I'm stronger than that. And David, keep out of it, this is between me and her," Crystal said, the one with bleach blonde hair, she pointed at me.
     David continued saying something when Victoria leaned over and whispered in my ear, "the middle one is Crystal. The red head in Ruby. The one with brown hair in Emerald, otherwise known as Emme. David and Crystal used to date, didn't end well."
     "So, Rebekah Ocsar, if that really is your name." Crystal said. Angelica flinched, I'm not sure if it was because of Crystal's voice full of hatred or the mention of my name.
     "Tell me something, have you been seeing things recently. Hearing things recently, things you can't explain. Things that belong in books!" Crystal taunted. How did she know?
     "Want everything to be explained, Rebekah Ocsar, the mortal! Go ahead and go into the basement. It tells you of everything you need to know," she said.
     "Tempting, but I think I'll pass. Thanks," I said, remembering the voice saying someone would tempt me. Those nightmares too, they still wander into my mind from time to time.
     "Excuse me! You do realize what I can do, right?" Crystal taunted.
     "Ya, you'll ruin my reputation, make me regret it. Blah, blah, blah. Classic mean girl stuff." I said.
     "Oh, I'm not gonna ruin your reputation. I can do much worse, mortal. I-" she leaned towards my ear, only I could hear, maybe Victoria, "Can get you killed."
     "How can you do that, exactly?" Fight sass with sass. It worked with the girls back home.
     "I have my ways," her voice wasn't taunting anymore but serious, "don't underestimate me. I can get you killed unless you go into the basement."
     "Bekah, I'll come with you." Angelica said from across the table.
"Me too! I'll come," Victoria said.
     "You can do it Bekah, I know you can," David smiled at me. His smile made me feel weird. A feeling I haven't felt before.
     I just now noticed how cute David was. His hairstyle, and facial features. I smiled back.
     "When, Crystal!" I spat.
     "Doesn't matter to me, you just need to go by Friday, the Night of the Blood Moon," she said.
     Angelica seemed tense and scared, a look of horror on her face.
     "You don't have to come with me if you don't want to," I was talking to Angelica.
     The bell rang, making me jump. Victoria grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards the cafeteria exit. I glanced back and saw David. It made me feel like a girly girl, just to look at him. Made me want to burst into giggles.
     "OMG! Bekah! I saw the way you looked at him!" Victoria said.
     "What are you talking about?" I said.
     "I know you're lying, you like David!"
