I started to stare at him. I narrowed my eyes, with pursed lips.
"What are you looking at?" Toby asked light-heartedly.
"Your hurt and your not telling us."
"How would I know whether or not I am. I can't feel pain."
"That doesn't mean you can't know when your hurt. It's usually obvious when you hurt yourself majorly, even if you can't feel it, and you know you are."
"I'm fine." He throws his hands up in defense. I then take his hand that's around me and start studying it. I take of the glove, study the hand some more, then put it back on. "What the hell are you doing?" I pull up his sleeve and start looking at his arm.
"I'm checking to make sure that you really are alright." I then crawl, the best I could, behind him on the other side and do the same.
"I'm fine really."
"Then why don't I believe you." Everyone was laughing.
"She wants th-" Jeff started to say, but Eyeless Jack cuffed him before he could finish the sentence. Then I pulled up his shirt to revealed a long and deep cut going across his chest.
"'I'm fine' my ass. How would you miss being cut across your chest?" It was still bleeding a bit.
"What?" He asked nonchalantly.
Everyone was laughing. "Dude she just pulled up your shirt!" Laughing Jack pointed out.
"Wow, at least there not being complete assholes." I muttered and let go of his shirt.
"Thanks for pointing out the obvious. Don't think I would've noticed had you not pointed it out." Ticci Toby replied sarcasticly.
Slenderman then came in from the office. I guess I didn't notice him slip off during all the commotion. "It's almost time." Slenderman informed everyone.
"Almost time for what, Mr.Slenderman?" I asked.
"In case you all have forgotten, we still need to get Sally." He replied.
"Oh yeah. Am I just staying here?" I asked.
"I'm afraid so, child."
"What if they come back?" I inquired. I could tell Toby was thinking the same thing.
"Fair point, but you just can't help in any way, and you need to rest child. With your twisted foot and shot shoulder. You need to stay here, child."
"Yes sir, Mr.Slenderman."
"Someone has manners." He nodded, he then turned to walk away.
"But what if they do? We aren't gonna be here to fight'em off." Toby said.
"Yeah, it's not like she's a secret any more. They'll know she's here." BEN agreed.
"Either way, she isn't going to be a help, children." Slenderman countered.
"But if she came, we could at least watch her." Toby argued.
"Come on, if Slender said no, then it's no." Eyeless Jack argued back.
"Yeah, really it's fine. I can just hide or something." I agreed.
"I'm worried that hiding 'or something' won't be enough."
"He also just wants another excuse to hold her in his arms, and be next to her, and show off." Jane teased.
"Totally. It's obvious isn't it?" Masky picked. Hoodie snickered. Laughing Jack was laughing again.
"Come on guys this is serious." Toby pleaded.
"It doesn't matter to me. Just as long no one gets in a fight, and no one dies." I said.
"Then stay." Slenderman said.
"Then come." Ticci Toby said at the same time. "I don't want to lose the one thing I've allowed myself to love."
I blushed then said,"When you look at it statistically and technically. For me to stay or go. Go outnumbers Stay. So if it's really up to me." I look around, "I choose go... "I said wincing, looking Slenderman.
Slenderman made an heavily exhaling gesture. "Fine. All of you aren't going to give up anyways, are you children?"
"Nope!" BEN said excitedly.
"And I'll actually get to see Sally!" I said, smiling.
"True. I'm sure she'd love to finally see another girl who might actually want to play with her!" Toby informs.
"But let's not forget, we still need to get her children." Slenderman reminds us.
"Yes, but now let's take care of that cut." I said.
