TOO MUCH OF DRAMA

And at last our school reopened.I was much excited to meet him in person.But to be frank I totally forgot his face.

By the time I reached my class everyone of my friends came to know about me and Bruhaan. They started to tease me which made me blush and blush.I dismissed them and started to organize my holiday homeworks. Well...I'm a nerd and my first priority is to concentrate on my studies.I always make sure to finish off my studies before texting or talking with him.

Our first hour began and I concentrated on the subject with undivided attention.And during the middle of the third hour I heard someone whistling on the corridor.I saw a tall guy and chubby guy walking past our class.The tall guy smiled and winked at me.I frowned and gave him a dirty look.

I felt someone nudging beside me.It was Lavanya.

"Oh my gosh Raniya...Zee is soo romantic..."

I threw her a confused look to which she replied,"He bunked his class just to see you..I mean this is sooo damn romantic.." I saw a dreamy look in her eyes and sighed.

I face palmed myself when the reality hit me hard.I sighed and buried my face in my hands.And I cursed myself for few minutes.

I soon dashed out of my classroom towards the canteen along with Lavanya.He and his friends usually hang out in the canteen during free hours and I sighed in relief when I saw him talking with his friend Rifay.

Me and Lavanya bought some soft drinks and sat opposite to him.

His eyes shifted to me and our eyes locked.We exchanged some unspoken emotion between us, totally forgetting about my surroundings.

Lavanya cleared her throat snapping me out of our staring.Bruhaan gestured me to wait for him.He walked to the snack counter and saw him buy something meanwhile Lavanya started to tease me.

He walked towards me and gave me a CHOCOLATE...

And that made my day....

But it was not...!!!!

Me and Lavanya moved out of the canteen after getting my chocolate.We walked through the corridors of Principal's chamber and to my great shock,I saw Irfan and his mother.

Irfan saw me and he waved at me.He whispered to his mom and she smiled at me.I asked Lavanya to go to the classroom and inform my whereabouts to our staff.I walked to them with a smile on my face.

"Assalamu Alaikum aunty..."

They replied to my salaam in unison.

Irfan spoke,"Guess what Rani...???"

I gave him a blank look to which he replied,"I am going to continue my 11th & 12th in your...I mean..our school.."

I gave him a surprised look and replied ,"Woww...welcome Irfan...thats a great news.."

"Take care of him Raniya...you should report me all his misdoings.."said Aunty to which I laughed while Irfan whined like a small kid.We playfully teased each other just like our old times. Aunty laughed at us and she sat down in the waiting area. We chatted for a while and suddenly, from the corner of my eyes I saw Bruhaan walking beside us.I noticed he purposely slowed down his walk to hear our conversation.

He gave me a glare and thankfully,Irfan did not notice this.I sighed in satisfaction and said,"Irfan..I think I'm running late for the class...see you in our school uniform soon.."

I turned to walk away and heard Irfan say,"In sha Allah.."

I smiled inwardly thinking about Irfan's ibaadath.He is quite religious and engages himself in all the mosque activities.

I stopped thinking about Irfan when I saw Bruhaan standing impatiently near an empty classroom.

"Who is that..?"

I smiled at him and said,"Its my cousin Irfan...who calls me 'My Ranii'..remember?" 

He nodded and remained silent.

I expected him to talk but he did not even utter a word

I sighed dramatically and explained to him,"Why are you so bothered..??"

He shook his head and said,"Nothing...I'm getting late for my class..see you later.."

And he slowly walked to his classroom.Then I remembered about Irfan's admission and ran beside Bruhaan and spoke,"Irfan is going to join our school.."

Bruhaan stopped in his walk and gave me the MOST DEATHLIEST GLARE.

I should say...I was SHELL SHOCKED with his expression.No one ever gave me such a look.The look of his made me trembling and sweating.

Without any further conversation he walked away, while my legs were rooted to the spot making me unable to move.

I snapped out of my thoughts when the school bell rang indicating the end of the hour.

Many hours passed by but I did not notice for the rest of the day.Maybe he was so damn pissed off..

"Oh-Oh Raniya...you are so much in trouble..!!!!"

I know that I suck terribly in keeping up my promises...I'm really sorryy...Right now I'm having my major exam...dats y...pls understand..
