I never even knew a world like this existed. It's beautiful, but horrifying, knowing that every legend, every rumor, and every story is real.
All of those myths about vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, mermaids, everything. Its all real. This world is so well hidden from the one that we know now. They blend in perfectly, stalking us unsuspectingly, watching our every moves, learning everything and anything they can. They attend our schools, walk down our streets, do our jobs.
They have no rules, except for one, to never fall in love with a human. That rule is forbidden, because if it happens, the penalty is death. And this was the reason this world was brought to my attention, because HE fell in love with me. The most powerful shapeshifter loves me. I'm his and no one else's.
