It was just another normal night, with nothing to do. My mom wouldn't let me go out, so I sat inside like a caged animal. I groaned, playing with the ends of my long, slightly curled, brown hair. My green eyes flickered back as forth.
"Ash! I'm going out! Look out for your brother." My moms voice echoed through the house. I groaned in defiance. I didn't want to watch him. He's old enough to watch himself.
"Ash!" My moms voice yelled even louder.
"What?" I yelled back.
"I'm leaving."
"Okay." I hate being one of the goody two shoes. I never go out, I always have good grades, and I'm forever stuck watching my fourteen year old brother. Why does god not want me to have fun? Why do my parents have to be so damned strict?
Since I have nothing better to do, I decided to take a shower. Grabbing the most fluffiest towel I own, a pair of undies and a bra, I made my way to my bathroom. I flicked on the lights, turned on the shower, and started to strip out of my clothes. I hopped into the warm water, sighing in content. Hot showers always make me feel fantastic.
I jumped out, encasing my body in my fluffy towel. I dried my body off, and shimmied into my undies. I hooked on my bra, combed through my brown hair, and walked back into my room. My phone started to ring, a glance at the caller I.d told me it was Claire, my best friend.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Girl there's a party tonight and were going!" She hollered into the phone.
"Uh.."
"No if ands or buts! You are coming with me and we're going to have some fun! I'm picking you up in 20. Better be ready!" Claire said then hung up the phone. My stomach started to hurt. "That's not a good sign." I muttered.
Since it was in the middle of winter here in Vegas, I decided to wear my skinny jeans, a black crop top, and my leather jacket. After yanking on my jeans, I pulled on my combat boots.
I never really cared about my appearance, so I just settled for my normal mascara, eyeliner, and cherry Chapstick. I glanced in the mirror, satisfied with the outcome. I felt my phone vibrate.
~Here babe~
I read off the phone screen.
"Hey Max!" I yelled. I heard some shuffling and saw him poke his head out from his room.
"What?"
"I'm going out," I slipped him a twenty. "Don't tell mom, got it?"
His face lit up like a kids on Christmas.
"You got it."
I blew him a kiss and walked out the door. I walked over to the passenger side of Claire's charger. It's such a beautiful car, electric blue with white racing stripes. The perks of having a lawyer for a dad I guess. I opened the door, her music tumbling out.
"Hey babe. You look cute." Her high voice squealed. I smiled at her, buckling up.
"Oh stop you. You look beautiful." And I was right. She does look beautiful. She has long blond hair, bright blue eyes, and a body to die for. Claire looked gorgeous.
"You ready for this party?" She asked while driving. My stomach started churning. That's not a good sign.
"Yeah.." I mumbled. She turned up the radio and rolled down the windows. I watched the trees fly by until we reached our destination.
The party took place in a mansion located in the middle of the desert. Seriously? What's a house THIS huge doing in the middle of a desert? I sighed. The people in Vegas were strange.
