Echo's POV

It was the 6th day, we'd barely started. So far I've made a few friends. Matt and I always hung out whenever we could I looked at the time. It was 1 pm. I climbed the stairs to get onto the bus. I locked the door and went to my bag. I looked for something. I packed one dress because I figured we'd go some place and I had to look semi girlish. I finally found it.

It was nothing special, it was a cotton dress that was black and had a white skull towards the bottom right of it.  It came right above my knee. I laid it on the bathroom counter and searched around in my makeup bag. I grabbed some eyeliner, adding little wings that came right outside  of my eyelids. I tried to do the smokey eye look with my  purple, gray, and black eye shadow. It didn't't look to bad. I took out my lipstick, it was a dark red/purple. I looked at myself in the mirror. This would be my first actual date basically. I let out a shaky breath and plugged in the straightener. I stripped of my clothes and  put on the dress. I laughed at myself because I would be wearing this with converse.

I slipped on my all black converse and went back to the bathroom. I decided to put in my silver lip ring and then picked up the straightener. I fixed my hair and then then took a step back, letting me see myself in the mirror. I looked decent. I  glanced at the time, 2:30. I picked up my rings and put them on my fingers. I grabbed my silver feather earrings and put them in too. I made my way to the door and unlocked it. I saw Ashley there. He looked up at me. I saw a smile cross his lips.

"You look beautiful doll." He whispered. He stuck out his hand, helping me off of the bus. I stepped on the ground to see my dad standing there with a cup in his hand.

"He's right Echo. You do look beautiful." He smiled. He pulled me into a hug and spun me in a circle. I heard footsteps so I looked up. I saw Matt standing there. He had on a pair of black skinny jeans, a button up black shirt with a silver tie. I smiled and looked down at the ground.

"Hey um, have her back by 6:30 okay?"  I heard him dad say. He nodded. He walked over to me and grabbed my hand. When we reached the other side of the bus he stopped us and kissed me. I smiled into the kiss and we pulled away. He looked at me and then into my eyes.

"You look beautiful." He whispered in my ear, causing me to blush. He smiled and we started walking a little more.

"Where are we going?" I couldn't help but to ask. He chuckled a little. "You'll see in a few minutes okay?"

I nodded. "Okay fine, how far away is it?"

"Down the street a little ways... so walking distance." He said glancing down at me. I nodded and glanced down at out entwined fingers, it sent a warm fuzzy feeling through me. I couldn't help but to smile.

"So Matty," I teased and poked his arm. "Did I dress okay for this event?" I asked nervously.

"Yes." He answered with a slight smile. We walked a few more minutes until I finally saw it. It was a carnival. I screamed and hugged him as tight as I could.

"How did you know?" I asked stupidly. "I guess Doll." He answered.

"I love carnivals!" I shouted. He placed a hand over my mouth. I smirked and licked it. I saw him retract.

"We should get you a warning sign." He commented, wiping his hand on his pants. I laughed a little. We walked over to the ticket booth and he paid for wrist bands. I dragged him over to The Zipper.

"We're going on this first because I love this ride okay?" I said pulling him into line. He nearly fell on me, laughing the whole way. I felt him wrap his arms around my waist and rest his head on my top of my head. I moved my head and pecked his lips. He smiled and pecked mine back. We walked forward a few steps and into the little cart.
