Danielle

"Are you seriously taking his side Juju?" I ask glaring at him.

"I mean come on Dani you know how your brother gets, and Liam and I go way back. I am telling you that kid is no good." He shrugs and I felt the need to defend Liam.

"He has changed Julian, he is getting better. He isn't perfect at all Julian, but he feels the need to be that for me."

"Dylan is just looking out for you, he has every right to act the way he has been. For all we know, he could be putting on a show. There is no telling what his intentions are. I am not dwelling on his past, but Dani the things he has done will continue to haunt him. People will continue to chase after him until they get what they want. Dylan doesn't want anything happening to you, he feels like he is obligated to protect you. Well newsflash Dani he isn't, and he doesn't owe you anything at all. Just know that Dylan was there at your low points."

"So when I get serious with Liam everything about him is a problem? You know what Julian; I am not apologizing to Dylan for anything. You and Dylan have no room to judge anyone. Oh and I never said anything about him owing me anything" I close my laptop and place it on my desk. I walk out of my room and head downstairs.

"Where are you going Dani?" I chose to ignore him. I walk outside and slam the door shut. I began to walk down the street. Liam is not a bad guy he thinks that he is, but he isn't. I feel like people tend to judge people even more when they have a rough past. People create this perfect image in their head of how they want life to be, but when things take a turn we all end up being disappointed. I looked around and noticed I was far from my house. I continued to walk wanting my mind to silence. I spotted a little diner across the street and walked towards it. The bell had dinged signaling my entrance. I was greeted by an older lady maybe in her late thirties. She sat me at a table near the bar. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and a slice of their famous apple pie. A group of rowdy teenagers came in; I mentally roll my eyes as they pass me. One of them plopped down across from me.

"Is this seat taken?" the boy across from me examined me

"I guess it is now" I muttered looking up at him receiving a laugh from him

"Baby girl do you have a name?" He asked

"I'm pretty sure everyone is given a name at birth even if their name is baby  number 2" I replied dryly making him chuckle

"So does this mean I can't get your name, well I'm Jamal" He nodded his head towards his friends and they approached the table I was sitting at.

"Well Jamal, I have a boyfriend" I was about to get up but another person from that group sat down next to me. I suddenly felt really uncomfortable as his friend scooted closer to me.

"I don't recall asking about your boyfriend, I just asked for your name" Jamal pointed out

"I don't recall giving a fuck" I tried to get up but the boy only pulled me back down

"I wasn't done talking to you..... Danielle" I furrowed my brows at him. How does he know my name?
