"You are counting off this much for not using the right size font?" I try to keep my tone down

"It was written in bold letters at the top of the page" Mrs. Carol says nonchalantly

"I'm sorry but the last time I checked you are a Geometry teacher not an English teacher. Why would you assign us a research paper on a mathematician? This is not an English class so why in the hell would you assign a research paper?" I fume letting my anger get the best of me. I would normally never ever disrespect a teacher, but she is asking for it.

"Hmm I don't know Miss Ray, but how about you ask the detention teacher" She snarls

"I'm pretty sure he or she would ask the same damn question." I retort back

"Get out of my classroom now!" She yells

I walk out of the room and head down to the detention room before the bell rings for dismal. I sign my name on the sheet and I sat in the back of the room. I close my eyes to take a nap. I hear shuffling beside me. I peak an eye open and quickly shut it. He won't notice me, he won't notice me.

"It's quite an honor seeing you here, love" Liam says obviously amused. I roll my eyes and continue to ignore him. "So what did you do, cuss the teacher out for giving you a 99 and not a 100?" He attempted to make a joke once again. I glared at him and notice how close his desk was to mine.

"Oh the silent treatment I see. You know you can't stay quiet when you're around me" He replies smugly "Dani we need to talk" He pleads

"No we don't, you said you needed some time to figure this out and now after a week you want to speak to me." I cross my arms and look at the time

"Dani I want you and only you, baby you know that." He grabs my hand and kisses it "I'm sorry about the other day, I just had a lot going on- I cut him off

"Don't you dare go there with me" I warn, he was taken back by my harsh tone.

"Can we please talk?" He touched my arm and I jerked away

"You want to talk about how this relationship was a mistake?" I looked in front of me seeing the teacher reading a book.

"No, I just needed to distance myself from you, due to certain circumstances. Give me a chance to fix this" He pleads

"What did I do?" I found myself asking

"You did nothing at all Dani. Being involved with a person like me isn't that safe. Things have been popping up here and there, I can't let anything happen to you Danielle" I turn my attention towards him seeing that he is being serious.

"I don't care about your reputation Liam. You have been keeping me safe." I jerk my hand away and he shakes his head

"You aren't Dani. I let you out of my sight for a few hours and then you ended up getting snatched up by those boys. There are people who are pointing fingers at me. There was an eye witness there Dani; they saw me leaving with you. I had to make up these stupid lies. If I get caught up in my lies I will be in deep shit." He ran his fingers through his hair

"We can't talk about this right now." I muttered looking at my surroundings

"We need to talk about this and you know it."

"There is nothing to talk about" I hiss

"How about I put it like this, you leave thisschool and come with me or you will find Julian's head in the boot of someone'scar. Come with me, yea?"
