I open my room door and see a furious Dylan pacing around the room. I shuffle around and make my presence known. I let out a sound resembling a cat in water when I trip over my laptop charger. I jump up and lean on the door and clear my throat.
"I'm okay" I cough
"I don't recall asking you" He growled
"Who pissed in your mouth this morning?" I slid my jacket off and sat it on the back of my chair
"More like who was in your mouth Dani! Did I not tell you to leave leopard alone?" He snapped. Leopard hmm that is actually funny I might use that one on him.
"I am not a child Dylan. You can't tell me to stay away from him, who in the hell are you supposed to be?"
"He is breaking you Dani! You are letting him control you. He is playing innocent he has you right where he wants you"
"Dylan you sound crazy. He isn't controlling me; if I wanted to leave him alone I could easily do so. You don't want to see me hurt and I respect and understand that, but if he is a mistake just please let me learn from it. I trust him Dylan and you don't know him like I do."
"Spare me the whole you don't know him shit! Do you really know everything about him?" He questions as if he knows something I don't
"Yes, I do unlike you! Like who are you to judge? You rant about loyalty and this other crap but you are screwing around with my best friend! You didn't think I would find out about that did you Dylan?" I semi yell
"Aubrielle doesn't have anything to do with this so leave her out of it! Liam is dangerous you need to stay away from him Dani! I am being serious" He grabbed my arm
"No, I won't" I snatch away from him
"Liam is a bigger threat than Aidan. He is capable of murder Danielle! I will be damned if he lays a finger on you" He growls
"H-how did you find out?" I back away from him
"I did my research on him Dani, he murdered his father! He killed his own flesh and blood and he told the reporters that he enjoyed every minute of it Dani! He was associated with a gang when he was like15! There is no telling how many other people he killed! Stay away from him Danielle or so help me God!"
"I'm sorry, but I can't. I am all he has Dylan, I can't just leave him like that" I muttered
"Danielle, are you freaking stupid? He is a psychopath just waiting on his next victim! Stay away from him Danielle!" He yelled in my face
"Or what? What in the hell could you possibly do! He won't even take you serious!" I roll my eyes
"I won't tell you again Danielle, stay away from him, I will make sure you won't see him again! I am not messing around with you!" His eyes looked as if they turned black. I stepped away from him and sighed.
"You aren't my mother, or my father. I don't have to listen to you Dylan! You aren't even my real brother" I snarled and this only made him angrier
"Oh did you forget who in the hell was there for you at your low times? Huh Danielle? Did you forget who was really there? Who was there for you when people were picking on you? Who was there for you when you were cutting yourself? Who was there for you cheering you on at your dance recitals,and auditions? Who was there for you when you were fucking starving yourself? Who was there for you when Aidan was beating the crap out of you? Me! I was there! You would tell me things before you told Julian and Aubrielle! Blood doesn't make you family and you know it! What in the hell do you want me to do? Do you want me to cut the both of our hands open so we can share the same blood? Will we be family then? You go around here acting like the world revolves around you Dani! It doesn't, when you die people's lives will continue on. Oh and as for your father Dani he is gone! For all we know he can be in a different state living his life how he wanted it to be! Get over it!" He yelled the last part
"Get over it? Just like you got over your druggy mother?" I fire back feeling my eyes water
"You know what? I wish your dad would come back so you can get as far away from me as you can! I wish he would come back and take full custody of you so I don't have to deal with you anymore" He spat
"What in god's name is going on in here?" Nik walks in the room with mom following him
"I don't need this bullshit, I am gone!" Dylan grabs his keys off of my desk
"Dylan you aren't going anywhere!" Nik snaps
"Oh yea watch me" He pushes past Nik and walks out the room. I can hear Nik cursing after Dylan. I run my fingers through my hair. I can hear mom rambling on and I didn't bother to listen. Who does he think he is?
"Danielle Ray! Answer me right now!" She yells and I cringe
"No" I mumbled looking for my car keys
"No? No! Danielle if you don't talk to me I will have my foot down your damn throat!"
"Corinna calm down baby, Danielle please talk" He pleads in a soothing tone. I shake my head feeling tears come out. I ended up feeling angry and guilty at the same time.
"I just need to be alone right now. Please just leave me alone right now" I literally beg Nik nods and pulls mom out. Is this what Dylan meant by Liam changing me? I mean something still seems off about Liam.
