The week was winding down and it was her last day on the Rebel side of the border with Ruby. They had gone paint balling and now we're heading to the mall. This time Ruby brought all her friends with her and even Corey tagged along. Wow, this is a LOT of people, Kelly thought. "Uh, Ruby what are we doing?" she asked. Ruby and Corey just giggled and so did everyone around them. Kelly felt soooo nervous at that point. Then what Ruby said came back to her and she almost wet her pants. Soon enough, all of them were at the entrance of Spencer's. OMG I hope I can do this!
"Well, here we are Kelly. Are you ready to become a true and honorary Rebel?" Ruby asked her. Her face became red and she looked down. "Aaaw, come on, you can do it! Kelly! Kelly!" Corey encouraged her. Soon everyone else began to chant her name. Ruby gave Corey a hug and joined in. "Okay! Okay!" Kelly said as loud as she could. "I will do it thanks to the support of all of you guys. Strangers or not." She smiled and began to walk in and was in total shock. The crowd began to giggle and so did the cashiers. The whole theme of the store was Goth and emo and was completely inappropriate. It was a store for teenager and she was in her mid twenties. "Now your in here, so congrats!" Ruby told her and the crowd began to cheer. "You must buy at least one item and that doesn't include belts, book bags, or accessories. Begin!" With that Kelly began to look around at all the weird things in the store available with everyone guiding her at her side. In the end she made out with a pink lava lamp and spent 10 minutes tops in the store. She asked the cashiers does this happen often, what their interests are, and why they chose to be Goth and work at the store. Kelly also went around and asked Ruby's friends what kind of experience they had in there and what they bought. One showed her a very traumatizing poster and spent 30 minutes in there. Kelly was horrified after hearing that and then she asked them do they really want a war and if Ruby were to tell them not to fight would they agree with her. "No, we don't want a war and of course we'd be with our friend Ruby. But if the time comes we will fight." said one of the girls and she spoke for all of them. "Alright, alriiiight! Kelly you are now a true and honorary Rebel." Ruby announced. "We will leave out first and you have to take one last look around Spencer's and we will watch you leave." The crowd began to do so and shuffled out of the store. Kelly looked around at all the weird things in the store and hoped to never forget this experience
