               "Jasper," she gasped, running towards me.

               I didn't know what to think. How could my mom know who I am? Her memory was erased twice! It couldn't have worn off either, it's too early. What is going on?

               She approached me and took me into a hug as she wept.

               "Mom?" I said, confused.

               She pulled away, grabbed my face and stared into my eyes. "Jasper, who did this to you?"

               I gulped. "Did what?"

               Her lips quivered sadly. "Who took you away from me? Tell me, baby."

               "Mom," I whispered. "How do you remember me?"

               She dropped her hands and gave me a puzzled look. "It was a supernatural being, wasn't it?"

               Just then Adam and Kim flashed in behind her. When Adam saw who it was, his eyes widened in fear. He stepped back quietly, eyeing me and shaking his head. How was I supposed to know what shaking your head meant?

               "Tell me, who did it?" She repeated.

               "Did what?" I mumbled.

               She sighed. "Who stole you away from me? Who took you? Who kidnapped you and tried to wipe out my memory?"

               My eyes widened also. How was it that she knew things? No ordinary mom would ever guess her mind was erased. Did she knew about the other world? The supernatural world...

               My eyes accidentally looked up at Adam as he was backing up with Kim. My mom's face went pale and lifeless. She knew what ever had kidnapped me was behind her. She quickly turned around and stared at Adam.

               "You..." She hissed.

               "Mom," I said in a warning tone.

               She raised her hand to cut me off and I did.

               "I knew there was something strange the moment you entered my home." She took a step forward. "I didn't know what but now I do. So what are you? A witch? A hunter? A vampire?"

               My heart exploded. She knew about everything.

               Adam raised his hands defensively and my mom took it as something threatening. She took out a long studded whip and slashed it out. As kinky as it looked ... well I have no words for what I'm seeing.

               I almost laughed until I saw the whip burst into flames. It seemed to be roaring from the scorching flames. She let the whip drag behind her as she walked closer to Adam - leaving behind trails of lava that burned into the pavement.

               Adam's eyes widened again. He stepped back even further and suddenly made a run for it. My mom was faster for some reason, she twirled the whip over her and caught Adam in the flames. He screamed in agony as the fire burned deep into his skin - making my skin crawl in fear.

               "No!" I screamed at my mom. "Don't hurt him! You have it all wrong! Please let him go!"

               She looked back at me and examined my expression. She relaxed her muscles a little bit but didn't hesitate to let him go. He was burning alive. He could die from this!
