Two days have passed. Only two days ago Kim had stormed in our room and told us the big news. The storm was coming. It was months early than we expected but it was all thanks to the witches who performed the spell. Now Adam and I faced each other as he dressed me in proper clothes after taking the longest shower ever. He was already dressed in his usual coat, black pants, leather boots and plain black shirt. He defined darkness. But of course because he was my loving boyfriend, I developed a taste for the same clothes. Except I wore a coat with lighter clothes.

"How are you feeling?" he asked while he fixed my collar.

"Nervous." I nodded, pouting my bottom lip.

"You know that you don't have to join us, right? Kim and I can get the blood."

I smiled, a sad smile. "I love you so much, Adam. But there's no way I'm letting you go out there by yourself. We're in this together."

He kissed me lightly on the lips but I pulled him back when he tried to move away. I needed his reassuring lips on mine, because they made me feel comfortable and safe. I needed his touch to know that everything was going to be okay. I just needed him.

"I love you more, Jasper. We will make it." He gave a hopeful smile.

I nodded again. "So what's the plan again?"

He moved around the room and took out his golden book. The very first golden book that kind of brought us together. If it wasn't for that book, I would have never ripped off his necklace and exposed him. Thank you book.

"Okay, the only information about the air dragon is that ... it's ... gigantic. The largest dragon of them all."

I studied his expression and glared nervously. "How big?"

He hesitated. "Well ... titanic big."

I felt my heart sink to the bottom of my stomach. "That's ... big. How is that possible? How has no one been able to see it if it's that big?" I asked, my lips trembling in fear.

"I guess you have to be supernatural to see supernatural."

My hands automatically reached out to him and held him in a tight embrace. I was more scared than when I faced the grim reaper. I was more scared than when I knew I was turned into a vampire. This was a creature so big that it only appeared during hurricanes the size of Pluto.

"Remember, if you can't fly, just scream at me and I'll hold you," he said.

The lights flickered off and on as thunder roared in the sky. My breathing became abnormal, like having an asthma attack. The hurricane already reached the border eastern part of Florida. It was already here. But the strongest part hadn't reached yet. We were just waiting for Kim to come back so we could go. Adam already had a couple of vials in his pockets and the same amount of shots. It would be easy, right? Something that huge couldn't possible reach us while we crept behind it's back.

"Stop being so nervous, I can hear your heart beating loudly," Adam said.

I frowned. "I'm not fearless, Adam. I'm scared. I can't control my heart."

"I promise that when we get the blood, you and I will have some normal time together. We can go on a date, since we've never been on one. Or we can go to Disney if you want."
