"Are you thinking about joining the lacrosse team?" A familiar female voice asked. I turned around and froze when I saw her. I was speechless for a moment, but I snapped out of it.

"Uhh I don't know. Maybe. I'm more of a hockey player." I say, smiling.

"Really? I love hockey!" She says.

"Yeah?" I ask. She nodded. "I play soccer though." She explains. I smile.

"My sister plays soccer too!" I say. She smiled widely. "Same with my sister." She states as we slowly make our way over to the soccer department.

"My name's Jett by the way. I realized I hadn't introduced myself this morning." I say. Her eyes seemed to shine brightly as if she's been wanting to know my name all day.

"I'm Blaire!" She chirps. My smile grows uncontrollably. What a beautiful name!

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Blaire." I say.

"You too, Jett."

"JETT!" Kaila squeals as she runs and leaps into my arms, causing Blaire to giggle.

"Blaire, this is my wild little sister, Kaila." I chuckled.

"Hi Kaila!" Blaire says sweetly. "Hi!" Kai replies before facing me.

"Rylee helped me find the most awesome cleats ever!" She says excitedly. "Rylee?" I ask. I turned to Blaire when I heard her chuckle.

"It seems you met my sister, Kaila." She smiled.

"Rylee is your sister?" Kaila asked.

"Sure am!" A girl almost a half a foot shorter than Blaire stood beside her. Her hair slightly darker and her eyes slightly brighter than Blaire's but they were no doubt sisters.

"Jett this is my younger sister, Rylee." Blaire introduced. "Hi Rylee." I smiled. "Hey!" She waved. "So you're Kai's brother then?" She asked. I nodded. She turned and nudged Blaire's shoulder. "If he's anything like his sister, you better keep him and never let him go!" She whispered, though I could hear her clear as day. I smirked and glanced down at my feet. When I looked up, Blaire rolled her eyes and pushed Rylee away.

"Kai, should we have matching cleats?" Rylee asked. Kaila nodded and climbed out of my arms and followed Rylee back to where the cleats are.

"So where are you from?" Blaire asked.

"Fairbanks, Alaska."

"I've always wanted to visit Alaska!" She stated. I smiled. "It's gorgeous in the summer, but the winter, is cold and there's a lot of snow. Big difference from Beacon Hills in the winter time." I explained. She grinned and shook her head. "I know. I'm used to the cold." She said. I looked at her, confused. She giggled. "I was born and raised in Colorado." She explained. I nodded, understanding.

"When did you move here?" I asked.

"The summer after eighth grade."

"Do you miss being back in Colorado?" I ask. She shrugged.

"Sometimes, but I have friends here that I never had in Colorado." She said. "What do you mean?"

"Soccer wasn't very popular where I lived. It was always hockey that everyone played. I love the sport, but I was never good at it and I never learned how to skate, but I also wanted to be different from everyone else." She explained. I nodded.

"I can teach you how to skate! I taught Kaila and let me tell you, she was a horrible student." I said. She laughed.

"Hey! It wasn't my fault that I kept falling, you made me wear goalie gear!" Kaila whined.

"That was for your own good! If I hadn't put you in goalie gear, you most likely would have hurt yourself!" I chuckled. She stuck her tongue out at me. Both Kaila and Rylee grabbed what they needed for soccer and the four of us walked over to the cash register and paid. We walked outside and stopped in front of the store.

"Where are you guys parked?" I asked.

"Oh we were dropped off." She paused, looking at Rylee. "Did he text you back yet?" She asked. Rylee shook her head, causing Blaire to groan.

"We could give you a ride!" I say, hopeful. She turned to me. "I couldn't ask that of you." She said, modestly. I shook my head.

"You're not asking. I'm offering." I say, seriously. "So what do you say?" I asked. She smiled. "Okay!" I grinned and we walked over to the camaro.

"This is your car?" Rylee asked, wide eyed. I chuckled, before nodding. "My dad and I rebuilt it from the ground up!" I said. "Cool!" She replies. I smiled as I sat in the driver's seat. Rylee and Kaila sat in the back seat while Blaire sat up front, beside me. Not long after starting the car, the song Geronimo began playing and both Rylee and Kaila were singing along. I turned the music up slightly then glanced at Blaire to see her looking back at our sisters, smiling. I started singing along to the chorus, which caused Blaire to look at me, almost in shock before smiling widely and quickly joining in. The four of us sang and laughed the entire car ride to Blaire and Rylee's house.

"Thank you so much for the ride Jett!" Blaire said. I nodded.

"It was our pleasure, right Kai?" I say, turning to look at my sister. "Right!"

Blaire and Rylee climbed out of the car and shut the door, but Blaire peeked her head in through the open window. "See you tomorrow?" She asked. I smiled.

"Definitely!"

The entire drive home, Kaila annoyed me, repeatedly asking me if I liked Blaire, which I replied with, "yeah as a friend." I lied to her, because to me she's still too young to understand how I feel for Blaire. Hell, I don't even understand it myself, so I can't expect my eight year old sister to understand.

There's just something about Blaire that I feel drawn to. Having knowing Blaire for only a day, I feel as though I can't go a day without her. It's the oddest feeling. How can you barely meet someone, yet feel like you can't ever lose them?
