Scott caught me up the best he could. He told me about all the different supernatural creatures they've encountered, like a monstrous alpha werewolf, a kanima, which was where the venom I was poisoned with came from. The alpha pack and darach. The oni and nogitsune. The werejaguar and berserkers. The dead pool list of creatures. The dread doctors, chimeras, and skin walkers. To say they've been through a lot is an understatement. They've lost friends and even family. To believe that this pack puts on brave and strong faces even though they've experienced so much loss, I definitely have a new sense of respect for each of them and was honored to join the pack. I've quickly learned to trust them with my life.

It's been a week since the party. Blaire and I have gotten closer. Now she sits with the pack and I at lunch and we sit together in psychology which is exactly what we're doing right now.

"What are you doing after school?" Blaire asked. I smiled.

"Nothing, why?" I asked.

"Well it's my first game of the season and I would love it if you were there." She said, nervously.

"Okay! I'll be there!" I said. She smiled.

After school, I walked with Blaire to the locker room and waited for her to change. She came out with a nervous look on her face.

"Why are you nervous?" I asked as we started making our way out to the field.

"I just want to do well. This is my first game as team captain and I'm worried that I'll be a terrible at it." She rambled. I gently grabbed her elbow, stopping her.

"You will be great!" I said.

"I hope so." She said as we began walking again. "I know so!" I said. She still seemed a bit anxious so I stopped her again.

"Hey how about I make a deal with you." I said. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"What kind of deal?" She asked.

"If you score a goal, win or lose, I will take you to get frozen yogurt afterwards?" I suggest. She grinned.

"You've got yourself a deal, Mr. Jacobs." She giggled. I smiled before wrapping an arm around her waist and continuing to the field.

The game was great. We won and Blaire scored a goal. I was very much impressed with her ability to lead the team. After the game ended, Blaire went to the locker room to change so I decided to go and wait at the camaro. Soon she came out of the school dressed in soccer warm up pants and a BHHS hoodie. As she came closer I opened the passenger door for her.

"Hey captain! Ready for some frozen yogurt?" I asked. She giggled. "Sounds wonderful!" She said, gently patting the side of my face before climbing inside.

We arrived at the frozen yogurt shop and each made our own cup of yogurt. I picked the peanut butter frozen yogurt with pieces of Reese's peanut butter cups as the topping. Blaire picked the chocolate with pieces of Oreo cookies and chocolate chips as toppings. We then sat at a small booth and ate our frozen yogurts. Suddenly, my phone went off. I pulled it out of my pocket and quickly looked at the text message.

From Scott: Hey J! Stiles and I were gonna take the girls on a double date tomorrow! Want to make it a triple date? Going ice skating!😰

"Hey Blaire, are you busy tomorrow?" I asked.

"Not that I know of, why?" She asked.

"Well remember when I told you that I'd teach you how to skate better?" I asked. She nodded.

"Scott and Stiles are taking Kira and Malia skating tomorrow and they invited us as kind of a triple date." I explained.

"Sounds fun! Hopefully I won't need to wear your goalie gear, but you may still want to bring it!" She chirped. "Okay!" I chuckled, then quickly text Scott back.

To Scott: We're definitely in! What's with the emoji?

From Scott: I'm a terrible skater!

To Scott: Lol

"Might have to bring extra gear!" I chuckled.

"How come?" She asked. I handed her my phone so she could read the text. After a moment she burst into a fit of giggles which brought a smile to my face. "That's really funny! I can totally imagine Scott skating right into the wall!" She said, causing both of us to laugh. After we finished our frozen yogurt, I drove Blaire home. I once again walked her to the door like all men should do.

"Thank you for the frozen yogurt! It was delicious!" She said.

"You deserved it after the awesome game you played!" I said.

"Maybe I had a good luck charm." She smirked. I chuckled. "Yeah?" I asked. She took a step closer to me, nodding her head. "Mmhmm!" We were inches away from our first kiss when the door opened.

"Oh Blaire, Jett! Sorry, I don't mean to interrupt... Whatever this is. I was just leaving for work." Blaire's dad said. She took a small step away from me and looked at her dad, well more like glared.

"No worries, Lieutenant Owens! We were just talking about the game." I lied, slightly. He smirked knowing that wasn't the whole truth.

"Right, your game! How'd it go?" He asked.

"Good! We won!" She replied.

"Blaire scored the winning goal!" I said, winking at Blaire. She smacked me across the chest, causing me to chuckle.

"That's great sweetie!" He said, proudly. He kissed her forehead and pat my shoulder before walking to his car.

"So I'll pick you up tomorrow morning?" I asked. She nodded.

"Can't wait!" She smiled. I softly kissed her cheek. "See you tomorrow." I said. She nodded before walking inside. I walked back to the car and got in. I sighed in content then drove home.
