I stood at the trunk of the camaro, shoving my hockey bags inside. Note to self, camaro's aren't meant to lug around hockey gear! I thought to myself. I climbed into the car and drove to Blaire's house.

I walked up to the door and knocked. Within a few moments the door opened, revealing Blaire. She wore a blue Colorado Avalanche sweatshirt with the sleeves rolled up to the elbow, along with charcoal grey sweatpants that said Colorado Avalanche on one side, and a pair of grey and white adidas. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, which happened to be a Colorado Avalanche scrunchie. I smirked at how adorable she looked.

"What? Is it too much?" She asked. My smirk turned into a smile and I shook my head.

"No it's not too much at all! In fact, I think you look extremely adorable!" I admitted. She grinned, walking up to me, and kissing my cheek before walking over to the camaro. I ran past her just in time to open the door for her.

"You know, you don't have to do that every time." She said. I shook my head.

"A gentleman always holds the door open for a lady. Always." I said. She shook her head and smiled, before climbing inside. I shut the door and got in on the driver side.

We got to the rink just in time. Scott, Stiles, Kira and Malia stood just outside the entrance. I parked the car and got out. After opening the door for Blaire, I opened the trunk and pulled out the two hockey bags.

"Wow you weren't kidding when you said you were bringing your gear huh?" Blaire asked. I shook my head. "Nope! Totally not kidding!" I smirked. She giggled and we walked over to our friends.

"Damn Jett! You look as though you're about to go on the ice and pummel someone!" Stiles said causing me to shake my head and laugh. "Nope, not today. These are for the ones who are terrible skaters!" I chuckled, glancing between Blaire and Scott. Blaire smacked my chest causing me to laugh some more.

We walked inside and I was shocked to see the building was empty, like completely empty. "Uh did we just break in or is this place abandoned?" I asked. Stiles and Scott chuckled.

"Neither, well not really. We had a friend who used to work here and he let us borrow the keys one time, but we never got the chance to give them back." Scott explained.

"So we broke in?" Blaire asked, with a smirk.

"It's not technically breaking in if you use a key." Stiles stated. We rolled our eyes and continued towards the locker room. Everyone grabbed some rental skates while I just pulled on my goalie skates. Blaire came and sat beside me putting on her skates. When she finished she looked through my gear bags, pulling out a normal hockey helmet.

"Mind if I borrow this?" She asked. I shook my head and laughed. "That's why I brought all of this. Precautionary of course!" I chuckled. We then walked out to the rink, but I stopped Blaire before she stepped on to the ice. I stood in front of her, adjusting the straps on the helmet so that it fit properly. All the while, she stared at me. "What?" I asked, smiling.

"Nothing, I just noticed how pretty your eyes are." She admitted. I smirked. "Not as pretty as yours!" I said, causing her to blush. I kissed the forehead of the helmet. "Take it slow, okay?" I asked. She nodded, before taking a slow step onto the ice. She skated ten feet out before she lost her balance. With my werewolf speed and hockey agility, I caught her just before she hit the ice. "It's okay I've got you!" I said, holding her in a standing position. I skated around so that I faced her and held out both of my hands. She took them and I slowly started skating backwards pulling her. We skated like this around the whole rink until she was ready to try again on her own. I still skated backwards in front of her, in case she needed assistance.

As we skated like this, neither of us paid attention as to where we were going, until I bumped into a clumsy Scott who fell, pulling me with him. Blaire, unable to stop in time tripped over us, landing right on top of me. We looked from one to another, before the three of us busted out laughing. Stiles, Malia and Kira came over to us.

"Wow! You guys are clumsy!" Stiles chuckled, causing us to laugh more. Scott and I got to our feet and I pulled Blaire up.

"I think I need a break! I'll go get us some hot chocolate!" She said. I helped her off the ice. "Wait here real quick!" I said, before going into a full on sprint around the rink like I used to back home. After a couple of laps around, feeling the cold breeze on my face, I came to a sudden halt, carving into the ice and causing a small flurry of snow, before walking off of the ice.

"Were you trying to show off mister?" Blaire asked. I laughed.

"No it's just something I like to do. Feeling the cool air against my face while going that fast around the rink, it's exhilarating. It's like a sense of fresh air." I explained. She smiled and I smiled in return.

"This is kind of random but do you like running?" She asked. I nodded.

"I was on the cross country team last year." I said.

"You wanna go for a run later? There's a trail near my house that goes through the preserve." She asked. I smiled. "Absolutely!" I said. She smiled. We walked near the concession stand to the keurig and made hot chocolates for everyone.
