"Hey." Derek said, kindly.

"Hi." I mumbled.

"Scott told me you were drugged with super human serum." He said. I nodded.

"Jett and Blaire were attacked Saturday night." Scott said.

"Did you see the attacker?" Derek asked.

"He wore a mask and tactical gear, but that's all I saw before he injected me." I replied.

"What about the side effects of the drug?" He asked.

"Um aggression, homicidal tendencies, hallucinations, oh and zero self control." I stated. He processed the information for a moment.

"You said they wore a mask. What did it look like?" He asked. I thought back to that night.

"Uh half of it was orange and the other black. It also had black eyes." I explained. He awkwardly looked down at the floor.

"What? Do you know something?" Stiles asked.

"I might know someone who has dealt with something very similar to this, but in order to possibly get his help, we will have to travel." Derek replied.

"To where?" Scott asked.

"Star City." Derek said. I shook my head. "No! I don't know you, so I don't trust you!" I growled. Scott stepped in front of me and placed his hand on my chest.

"Jett, relax!" Scott said, calmly. I pushed his hand away. "No, Scott! I can't just trust someone that shows up claiming that he can help me! Who's to say that he's not the one who did this to me to begin with? I'm not traveling anywhere with him! I'd rather die!" I say, angrily.

"You don't mean that, Jett!" Blaire muttered. I nodded. "Yes I do!" She shook her head in frustration.

"Then everything we've been doing in order to cure you has been worthless! You're foolish if you don't even give Derek a chance to help you. So what if you don't know him? He's willing to help! Quit being selfish and think about the danger you'll be putting everyone in if you don't accept Derek's help, including your mom and sister!" She yelled.

"Don't you dare bring my mom and sister into this!" I snapped. What the hell am I doing?

"You're the one who brought them into this! Especially now!" She shouted. I growled, causing Scott to stand in front of me again.

"Guys! You need to stop! This isn't helping the situation!" He said.

"Blaire, what do you say, you and I go out front to take a breather?" Deaton asked. Blaire shook her head.

"No need! I'm leaving!" She said. She turned to walk out and I took a step to follow her, but Scott pushed against my chest. He glanced at Stiles and nodded causing Stiles to look at Blaire.

"Hey Blaire! Let me give you ride home!" He said.

"No thanks Stiles!" She quickly said before she was out the door.

"I should go talk to her." I say, attempting to step around Scott, only for him to stop me again.

"No, give her time to cool off, okay?" He asked. I nodded.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me." I apologize. Scott pat my shoulder in reassurance.

"Jett?" Deaton asked.

"Yeah?"

"Do you trust Scott, Stiles and I?" He asked. I nodded. "Then you can trust Derek. We trust him." He added. I glanced at Scott for his assurance and he nodded. I then turned to Derek.

"I'm sorry for judging you so quickly, Derek. This drug has been making it difficult to stay in control of my emotions." I say.

"It's okay." He replied.

"So Star City, huh?" I asked. He nodded. "How far is that from here?"

"Isn't it like a seven hour drive from here?" Stiles asked.

"Roughly, yes." Derek said with a quick nod. I let out a sigh and glanced around the room.

"When do we leave?" I ask. They all thought for a moment.

"We have fall break next week. We can leave right after school on Thursday!" Scott suggested. We all nodded in agreement.

"Alright, but it will just be the four of us going." Derek said. Scott, Stiles and I gave him a simultaneous nod.

On our way back to the school, Scott and Stiles explained to me what I should tell my mom about our trip. When we got to the school, I happened to see Blaire walking down the street. I took a few steps towards her, but was quickly stopped by Stiles.

"Whoa whoa, hang on a second!" He said. I shook my head.

"I need to talk to her. Apologize." I say.

"No. Okay, Scott's right. Give her some space and talk to her tomorrow, 'kay?" He asked. I let out a heavy breath and nodded.

"Good, now go home and tell your mom about our plans so she doesn't freak out on Thursday when you don't come home from school." He ordered. I chuckled and rolled my eyes before climbing into the car and driving home. After pulling the camaro into the garage I entered the house to see my mom in the kitchen, putting groceries away.

"You're home early!" My mom said. I froze and glanced at the clock on the microwave to see that the school is just now getting out.

"Oh, my last class got out early!" I lied.

"What about your other six classes that you failed to attend to today?" She asked, folding her arms across her chest.

"Um well Stiles accidentally hit a dog right by the school this morning and the dog was too heavy so I helped take it to the vet clinic and we figured out where the owner lived and took the dog back to them when the doctor finished patching it up. By the time we got back to the school, it was already the last class of the day." I lied. "I'm really sorry for practically ditching school today!" I apologized. She loosened up and let her arms fall back to her sides. I could tell she didn't completely believe me.

"Just make sure it doesn't happen again!" She said, sternly. I nodded. "It won't, I promise!" I said, starting to turn towards the stairs, but instead turned back to my mom.

"Hey mom, Scott and Stiles invited me to go camping this weekend with them and Stiles' cousin Miguel! Can I go?" I ask, cautiously. She sighed.

"You can go, just be careful!" She says. I smile and walk around the kitchen island to kiss her cheek. "Thank you mom! We leave Thursday after school!" I say.

"Okay sweetheart! Now help me with these groceries!" She said. I laughed and started putting things away.
