I was in the car with my mother off to Felicia's party. As we were getting closer and closer to Felicia's house, I felt like my heart was suddenly going to shoot out of my chest. I kept on asking myself what the hell I was doing, and wondering why for the first time I hadn't listened to my friends' advice. I clenched my bag tightly which was seated on my lap. My hands were moist and I bit my lip at every thought of being in Felicia's home. The only reason I was going to this party was for me to change. I wanted to be popular. But was it really worth it? I looked at my mum with fear. There was no turning back.

"So who invited you? Do I know her?" asked my mum

"Um she's in my class."

"Oh what's her name?"

"She's called Felicia."

"Is she new?"

"No"

"Did you know her before?"

"Sort of. Yeah"

Before my mum could ask me another question, we arrived at Felicia's party.

"Okay come pick me up at 22h, bye mum!" but before I could open the car door, my mum spoke,

"Hey hold on there! I have to go say hello to her mother! I don't want her to think I'm rude." she started taking her seatbelt off and I tried to stop her.

"No, no, mum, I precipitated, it's totally fine! I'll tell her you said hi"

"Okay!" said my mum trying to calm me down.

"Well bye then"

Here we go. I came out of the car and shut the door behind me and waved at my mum. Wow, her house was massive. It looked like it had just been made collums were in the entrance and a pair of big front doors welcomed.  The house would be able to occupy six elephants, on each floor. I slowly marched towards the entrance, my head facing downwards. Questions were asked in my head. I took a deep breath and knocked.

After a moment of silence I waited for an answer and decided to knock again but before I could, Felicia opened the door.

She stared at me with a smug face.

"I'm glad you made it. Come on in" I stepped in the house and she lead me towards her bedroom.

Her bedroom was enormous. She had a wide double bed with royal drapes all around it. She had a huge window bringing in light. Her closet was the size of my bathroom. On the bed sat Nina and Sarah.

"Hey Renee" called Sarah. She looked at me and flickered her black lashes.

"Go on don't be shy Renee, you can go sit down"

I sat down on the bed obediantly. They all stared at me, watching my every move. Felicia stood in front of us.

"So the reason we brought you here, Renee, is because we think you have something special."

"Really?"

"Well we thought maybe... We could get you into our crew."

I replied astonished, "Me?"

She chuckled, "She's cute. Yes you"

I couldn't help but squeeze in a little a smile, although I had to act cool.

"So today, started Felicia again, we are going to go on a little shopping spree. Do you know Water Mill Mall?"

Water Mill Mall was the most popular mall in town, everyone went there, wether it was for bits and pieces for school or for clothes and makeup.

"Yeah. Of course"

"Great! Looks like she already knows a few things. Lets hop into the car then, shall we?"

"Simon! yelled Felicia as we were walking down the stairs towards the 1st floor, get the limo ready."

L - Limo?! As in... Limousine??

Simon (who I just discovered was her freaking butler), opened the front door for us and led us out. He then opened the car door for us and we all sat facing eachother. The limo had seats on the side, facing the tinted windows on the opposite sides.

Nina and Sarah were seated besides Felicia while I was on the other set of seats, alone.

Out of curiosity I asked Felicia what we were going to do.

"You came all the way to my house and you don't even know what we were going to do?" the three girls laughed and I inserted a little akward giggle.
