Chapter 5

James woke me up at 7 a.m. because today was apparently training day. Which for me meant that I had to go to the stadium and spend hours taking pictures and posting. Monday was going to be a long day. I quickly got up and dressed and got to the stadium as quickly, as I possibly could. Pep was not having any slacking off, so he pushed them extra hard. I managed to snap a picture of Bastian groaning and immediately posted it with the caption: "When you realize it's Monday." In 15 minutes it got 20 000 likes which made me pleased with myself. I tried my best to make this fun for the fans with some interacting. I posted random pictures and the fans had to caption them. The best ones got a shout out from our account. By noon, they were wrapping up the training session and I called Jane to meet me at the café. As I got up Mario and Thomas approached me.

-Hey, Audrey are you meeting with Jane? – Mario asked excited.

-Yeah, I am. – I smiled at them.

-Mind if we tag along? – Mario replied emphasizing on the 'we' part.

-I'm sure you've already asked Jane – so sure, why not?

-Awesome. But we'll have to eat the second best cupcakes in Munchen. – Thomas smiled at me.

-Oh, shut up. You can order anything else. – I glared.

-What are you people talking about? – Mario asked confused.

-Never mind. – Thomas and I said in union and then laughed looking at each other.

-Get dressed you two or we'll be late! – I instructed them.

After 20 minutes I was already losing patience with those two. Everyone else already had left but who knows what they were doing. I saw Philipp, so I decided to ask him:

-Hello, Philipp. I don't know if you remember me...

-Audrey! Of course I do. Let me guess you're waiting for Thomas?

-And Mario. – I didn't want him to get the wrong idea. – Are they going to come out soon because we're late?

-Lunch? Can I come with because Bastian ditched me? - He sounded rather annoyed.

-Of course. And if those two don't come out soon, we'll leave them here.

-You would leave me here. I'm heartbroken. – Thomas said behind me, holding his hand to his heart, trying to act shocked.

-What took you so long?

-Mario wanted to look good for Jane. – Thomas nudged him.

-As if you're not the same, Muller! – Mario poked fun at him.

Thomas laughed but I could see a bit of redness forming on his cheeks.

-Philipp, I don't know how you deal with those two.

-That's why I'm the captain and a babysitter for these kids.

-Oh, really mature Philipp. – Thomas poked him.

-Okay, everyone – get in the car and let's go!

Thomas sat next to me while Mario and Philipp sat in the back. I asked Thomas to put on some music and he turned on the radio. They were playing Rainbow – "Can't let you go".

-I love this song! –I said excited and started to sing along.

-You are a rock fan? – Mario asked confused.

I nodded and continued to sing along. Thomas went along with it and soon Philipp and Mario joined in. We probably sounded terrible but that's why the windows were up. The weird thing is that only Thomas and I knew all the lyrics while Mario and Philipp sung only during the chorus.
