"Have you seen Harry?" Kataleen asked as she kicked off her boots.
Ron shrugged. "Not really. And did you see the look on Sprout's face at my gift? She absolutely loved it!"
"Yeah," said Kataleen with a smile, then took out a small box from her pocket. "Oh, and I forgot your other gift."
Ron looked at it, confused, yet shrugged and took the box. "What's --"
He was cut off as he opened it when it sprinkled water on his face. Kataleen laughed so hard as Ron closed the box to keep the seemingly endless water from spraying all the more. "Bloody hell, Kat! Why'd you do that?! I'm all wet!"
"Hey! Spread the joy on Christmas!" she laughed, nearly falling off the common room couch as she burst out laughing, kicking the air.
Ron pouted. "Irwin wanted to give this to you, by the way."
She looked at the small bag he was holding. She gave him a suspicious look before opening the bag, and she smiled. "Oh, isn't he just great?"
"Why? What did he give?" Ron asked, standing from the couch right across Kataleen to her back.
Kataleen looked at him with a smile, then turned the bag inside out and threw the contents towards Ron. Ron let out a high-pitched shriek as a spider flew towards him. "BLOODY, BLOODY HELL! HUH, HUH, K-KATALEEN YOU STINKY WICKED TROLL! YOU KNOW I DON'T LIKE SPIDERS, BLOODY HELL!"
Kataleen laughed so hard she literally fell off the armrest of the couch she was on and hit her head on the floor. After slightly groaning she laughed harder as Ron ran from the spider chasing him around. "Relax, Ron! It's a toy spider navigator!"
"WOULD YOU BLOODY EXPLAIN WHAT THE HECK THAT BLOODY DEAD MEANS?!" Ron yelled as he jumped on the headrest of a couch and hugged it. A Gryffindor poked his head out of the boys' dorms and shushed him, before going back inside.
Kataleen laughed uproariously as she picked up a remote from the floor and pressed a red button, and the spider went to her side and went in the bag, then deactivated. Then she waved the bag in the air and sunglasses twice the size of the bag fell out. "That spider would look like a regular spider, except you can program it to follow anyone. It would see everything that person does as it follows it, and you can see it yourself using these sunglasses. Try it."
Ron shakily held out the sunglasses and put it on. "I see... regular things."
"The spider isn't activated yet, Ron," she sighed, as she pressed the red button and the spider went out. Ron backed up a bit until Kataleen said, "Ron Weasley."
"Huh?" said Ron, as the spider came closer to him. Suddenly he could see through the glasses himself, backing off, as if someone was looking at him through a camera at the side.
"Okay, okay, I get how it works! Now turn it off, please," he said, wheezing the last part. He sighed out of relief as the spider went to Kataleen. He placed the sunglasses on the armrest opposite the one Kataleen was on.
"See? It would actually help up keep an eye on Snape," said Kataleen, whispering his name.
He nodded, then looked at his watch. "It's 10:30 and Harry still isn't here."
"Yeah," mumbled Kataleen, sitting cross-legged on the couch. "Now where is Harry?"

Under the Invisibility Cloak, Harry walked through the Restricted Area of the library, which was luckily empty. With a gas lamp he looked for a book about Flamel, and was successfully able to find his name, thought it was from another topic.
