Chapter 13

Layla P.O.V

Sanchez introduced me to this cat named Marco. But instead of me tricking for him, I made him my man. Marco had me in Miami for a little vacation. When Rian called me it kind of pissed me off. I've raised JJ for most of his life alone, it's Rian's turn. JJ was turning 5 soon though and I wanted to be there but after I'm planning on turning over custody. My life right now doesn't accommodate a kid. Of course I'm going to be there for his first day of school and all the major hurdles but I need to get myself together. "What's on yo mind?" Marco asked asked as we walked hand in hand through the mall. "Nothing, I just miss my son" I admitted. "Why you ain't bring lil man? We could've found somebody to take him out and have his fun while we have ours" Marco said. "He's with his father" I said. "Well get him something, my pockets run deep" Marco bragged. Truthfully that's the only reason I made him my man! Plus Sanchez didn't want to be with me. He was too in love with Mia. I picked some clothes and shoes out for JJ. I even made Marco stop at the store and I found everything he'd asked me for. I was happy because I knew this would make up for my absence. After the shopping trip we went back to the hotel to prepare for tonight. We'd been invited to a club opening and I was excited. "Put on that little red dress! Yo ass look fat in that mafucka!" Marco said. I rolled my eyes, he sure knew how to fuck up a good mood but I played along. He just said the stupidest shit sometimes but his dick was good and he had money so I over looked his stupid ass remarks!

My make-up was flawless and the dress was absolutely gorgeous on me. Marco couldn't keep his hands off me in the car. "Baby wait until we get back to the room" I whined as he tried to slide his hands under my dress. We pulled up in front of the club and Marco hopped out and opened my door. All eyes were on us, Marco threw his keys to the valet and we entered and went straight to VIP. "Marco!" I heard a female yell. I instantly caught an attitude. Marco hugged the mystery girl. She was beautiful and of an Asian decent. "Vivi this is my girl Layla, Layla this is my adopted sister Vivi" Marco said. I instantly felt bad because Marco had confided in me about his adoptive parents and how there were 5 of them. "Hello, you look beautiful! I hope you enjoy my new club" Vivi said pleasantly. "Mommy wants you over for breakfast in the morning, no exceptions!" Vivi said walking away and blowing him a kiss. We sat at a booth and Marco ordered a few bottles. "Babe we're not going to drink all this!" I said over the music. Marco pointed to a pair of white twin boys and a chocolate brown female. "Those are my other brothers and sister. Mara, Kenny and Keenan" Marco said. His brothers caught my eye, their pale white skin and their forest green eyes enticed me. "Brother!" Mara squealed hugging Marco. "Baby girl, I can't believe you're 21" Marco said. The way he looked at her made me long for my old relationship with Simone and Riah. "This is my girl Layla" Marco said. Keenan and Kenny introduced themselves. We started drinking and I listened to them catch up. Vivi came over and joined us. My alcohol tolerance is low and I had exceeded my limit. Marco was drunk and horny and I was too. "Show me where the bathroom is" I whispered in his ear. Marco smiled and we found a near by bathroom. Marco picked me up and entered me. Marco was literally the best thing that ever happened to me.

 Russell P.O.V

"When are you going to tell your girl about us?" Kristie asked. "This is the last time!" I said irritated that I even fell into her trap again. "What you think she gone think about your little secret? How you think wifey is going to feel when she finds out you've been pimping her mother?" Kristie asked. I walked out before I did anything I would've wound up regretting. I didn't want Shaneka to ever find out because that would mean I would lose my family! I pulled up back at our apartment and I just sat in the car. I watched Shaneka in Tamya's room. She was rocking and singing to her. But what really got to me was the joy, the joy Tamya brought the both of us. When she spotted me she smiled and almost melted my heart. Nobody had ever had me on my feelings like she do! I got out and they met me at the door. "Guess what?" Shaneka asked. "What?" I asked nervous about her response. "Tamya gained 4 pounds!" Shaneka said. "What the doctor say?" I asked taking Tamya. "She said that it's not normal but not unheard of" Shaneka said. "Fat momma!" I said. Tamya smiled and showed me all her gums.
